Alright, anybody been to see the latest Harry Potter movie? I haven't been - I don't get to the theatre very often - but I have a half-hearted invite.....

I saw it. But since I've read the books, it was a little bit of a disappointment to me personally. In a general sense, it seems that the series has taken a turn for the grim between its happy beginning where a boy who found a pretty rock to now, where he's having to fight for his life and his only real home as well as his friends' lives, and even then the latter tend to be killed off.
Too many deaths =(

You know, I still haven't seen it and Half-Blood Prince will come out on DVD 12/8. LOL, guess I'll see it then! I've read all the books and, yes, it began to drag with the grueling fight against a seemingly implacable enemy. Midway through the last book that glimmer of hope was getting mighty faint.

I guess so. It's a bit strange that they'll be showing the Deathly Hallows in two parts. Makes sense, but still.
The end of that book seemed a bit... I'm not sure how to put it.
