Some would call this the middle of nowhere. Yet some would say this is the place to be. Hidden within the mountains you find this private lake, cool and calm, filled with the world's most delicious fish. This is the perfect place to find peace and tranquility.
On the lake, there is a peninsula with a large home built just beside it. On the peninsula itself sits a boathouse that contains jet skis and all things that could be needed for a day of fishing. Even if you simply wanted to sit in a canoe to read a book for awhile, this is where you can find the tools you'll need to do so. The dock on the peninsula has several different sized boats of all kinds hitched there. On the opposite side of the lake, about two or three miles away, is a lovely waterfall, natural, and flowing from this very lake down into a small river that leads just a few hours away into the big blue ocean.
The road you must take to find your way here is a narrow gravel road that takes about fifteen minutes from the nearest paved highway. The closest neighbors are in the next city, over an hour's drive from here. Huge trees covered almost to the tops in moss surround you. Everywhere you look; green! Looking across the lake, all you see are tall trees and huge mountains. This is a kind of magical paradise, you think to yourself as you see a beautiful bald eagle soaring overhead.
You turn and look at the house. It's nearly as breathtaking as the mountains. Inside are over 20 bedrooms, each with it's own bathroom attatched. The main entranceway opens up to reveal a beautiful balcony with a stairway leading down on each side. There are many things to do in this house.
The game room is the doorway directly ahead, under the balcony. It's an arcade filled with any game you can think of, including ski ball, air hockey, and pool tables. Like DDR? There's a whole new setup here- up to four players can DDR together all night long! Upstairs is two hallways that lead to the many bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen has a huge walk-in refrigerator and freezer, filled with every kind of food and drink you can imagine. There are live-in cooks and maids that keep the people who live here fed and the house clean.
To your right, past the stairway is a huge dining room with hanging chandeliers covered in sparkling crystals. At the back of this room is a door to the kitchen. The dining room has four large tables and a large dance floor in the center of the room. There is a spiral staircase leading up to the DJ booth, which is home to only one... Americo.
At the other end of the house is an amazing theater with a stage for live performances as well as an IMAX movie screen with the choice of anything you can think of to watch.
To the right of the door to the game room is a door that leads to a room in the basement that is completely lined wall to wall with shelves full of books. The library. Every subject is found here. Study to your heart's content, and don't forget there's a large table lined with computers there in the center of the room with free internet.
Last, but certainly not least, there's the mysterious door to the left of the game room. Beware! This leads to the basement as well, but it is the room of randomness! You have at your disposal when you go down these stairs things like the Pepsi pool, marshmallow fort, ramen pool, and vats of whatever other nonsense you can come up with.
You can do anything here. This is a true paradise. So wander in, take a room, and enjoy your stay with us. ^_^
