Hello! Welcome to my very first Yuri role play (in this thread). I am an avid fan of this genre, and so, I would like to express my almost undying love for this particular kind of romance between two girls by making this RP. There aren't many RPers in the Yuri Guild, but still, we need to keep this part of the organization alive! Rules: 1. No Godmodding. Look it up. 2. Follow RP subforum rules and Gaia ToS. 3. Nothing over PG-13, or we'll get in trouble. 4. To join, you need to be at least semi-literate. 5. Please post at least once a day. If you get bored, please PM me so that we can stop this whole RP. More to come soon...Characters:Name: Jillian "The Matchmaker" Heartlace Controlled by: Maki Casanova Age: 16 Personality: Headstrong, brave and has a 'no holds barred in any challenge' attitude. She can be loud and crazy, and she's really good at making friends. She is very protective, and can be sharp tongued at times, especially when it came to defending people that she cared about. The downside is, she's lazy, especially when it comes to homework, is often blunt and sarcastic, and short-tempered, making her burst out in anger sometimes at the wrong people.
Appearance: Back round: She is known around her school as "The Matchmaker" for her miraculous ability to weave two, loving souls together. Because of that, she has many clients each and every day, especially during lunch time where she can't take a break. Since customers line up like a bunch of ants carrying food to a colony during free time, she always hides behind the trees behind the school, where very few students ever go to. She isn't particularly interested in love right now, but all that will soon change as she meets her next client...
Likes: Food Dilly Dallying Sleeping Video Games Rings and shiny objects Stuffed toys Sports English and Science
Dislikes: Math Being bored Playboys Desparadas (desperate people) Insects Girly sports (a.k.a ballet and slow dancing) Others: She used to be very good at Taekwondo, but quit since she lost interest.Name: Lilian Lovette Controlled by: Ze-Yaoi-Masster Age: 16 Personality: Quiet, shy, kind and caring. She just wants somebody to love. Appearance: Background: Growing up with a busy, but loving father, and a stay-at-home mom, Lilian's life seemed perfect. Not to mention that as she got older, her sweet, kind attitude got her lots of friends(while at te same time, plenty of enemies), but she got pretty as well, getting her plenty of admirers. But that's all they were: admirers. None of tem really loved her. She's still a virgin, despite how many of her X's offered her sex. Now, as she goes to 'The Matchmaker' for help, she's thinks this is her last chance.
Likes: Cats, drawing, comfortable silence. She enjoys being in the company of others, as long as it's friendly, not the usual kind of rudeness she's treated with at school.
Dislikes: Loud noises (overly loud, rather), Men who only want her for sex, and being hated by near every girl at the school.
Other: She likes to do rough sketches of things or people around her. Summary of Plot:As you can probably make out from the title, the story shall revolve around the matchmaker and her client. The client, Lilian, is lovesick, and is desperately trying to find someone who will truly love her. Her past relationships were unsuccessful and did not last very long since all of the men she had dated were superficial and shallow, only appreciating her outward beauty. Scorned by many girls and looked upon with lust by most guys in the school, Lilian turns to Jillian in a last attempt to find her significant other.
Jillian found this to be a very exciting and adrenaline boiling challenge, and she gladly accepts as if it were some kind of game. The two then set out on a probably wacky journey to find the perfect match together hand in hand, only to realize later... [SPOILER!] that they already did. [SPOILER!]

NPC characters that can be controlled by either player:
Rica Waltzaneger- A first year middle school student who is "in love" with Jillian, and often spends as much time as she can with her. Sweet, but very much clingy, she and Jillian often walk together from home, since they're both neighbors, although their time spent together is often rowdy and loud, since Jillian doesn't feel the same way while the younger persists on being her girlfriend. (Shall appear later, when Jillian and Lillian are better friends)
Appearance: http://i582.photobucket.com/albums/ss263/sayori-chan44/Anime Girls/School Girls/378751.jpg
Paul Hunter- Jillian's guy friend who is in love with Lillian, and often asks her to hook them up together. Initially, she refuses to do so since he often catches her at times when she is lazy or being moody, but Lady Luck does her part when Jillian finally agrees to plot something up for them after being bribed with money.
Appearance: http://i970.photobucket.com/albums/ae181/Yaoi_Goddess/Anime Boys/1836050841a4896033137l.jpg
Teachers- Ms. Javier: English- A stern yet gentle young lady in her mid twenties. Has wavy brown hair tied in a pony tail, brown eyes and wears glasses.
Mr. Pacman: Social Studies- An old military veteran, Mr. Pacman and acts like a colonel, with his thick, gray eyebrows, his thin, scowling lips and his strict disciplinary attitude. His voice is a booming megaphone which often scares the hell out of most students.
Ms. Winnifred: Science- A kind and tolerant woman in her mid twenties. Is often the favorite of many students (especially males), but when angered, she can put an exploding volcano to shame. Has straight, black hair often tied in a ponytail and abysmal, black eyes.
Mrs. Genevieve: Home Eco.- a soft, old lady who has the voice of a faint whisper. Students can barely hear her lectures, and oftentimes, they spend the whole period messing around and talking. It's not a surprise that any students get low grades in her subject.
Mr. Pico: P.E.- His real surname is unknown, but he insists his students on calling him that. A somewhat gay and flamboyant teacher whose topics are often feminine in nature (a.k.a ballet), male students and boyish girls (like Jillian) cringe in embarrassment every time they attend his class. Is bald, and often chases around Mr. Benjamin.
Mr. Benjamin: Math- An arrogant yet intelligent teacher who is contemptibly hated by most students. His teaching methods are unmistakeably brilliant, but when students anger him, his lashing tongue moves on its own accord. He has a handsome, young face that is often plastered with a disdainful smirk.
Mr. Cho: Computer- He's a fluffy, jolly old man whom students view more as a friend rather than a teacher. The ones closest to often like to pull on his Santa Clause-like beard whenever they're not having any class or are taking a break from studying and such.
Characters controlled by Maki:
Sasha Hanadera- A young girl whose pessimistic attitude is rather well known, although that doesn't mean she doesn't mean she's a killjoy. She's rather the party goer of the group, often inviting her friends to go to the mall. Has chestnut, brown hair and dark, blue eyes.
Appearance: http://i704.photobucket.com/albums/ww43/tekaheart/Yeipic.jpg
Felicity Brilliantes- A rich girl who is a certified optimist, she's quite shy around boys and is secretive. Being Jillian's childhood friend, she often sticks around her whenever possible. Kind of a ditz as well.

A long line composed of both fidgeting boys and girls alike streamed from a certain somebody's desk to the bustling hallways. Murmurs and whispers were abound inside the classroom, as only a few of its inhabitants were inside at the moment, not wanting to disturb a certain someone's business. One look at the formation of the students, and immediately, anybody would know that it was that time of the day: a time where people who are in the pits when it came to love turned to their rope-flinging savior, 'The Matchmaker'.
"So... You like this girl, don't you?" Jillian Heartlace asked as she tapped a pencil on the wooden surface, quirking a somewhat doubtful eyebrow at the blushing boy in front of her, who nodded slowly in reply to her question. She slammed down both palms onto her desk, and yelled at him as a fire flared from behind her, "Then be a man, for Pete's sake! Look at you, cowering in fear before me at this moment, and I am just a stranger. What more if it's before that woman? I tell you my friend, if you don't pull yourself together, you're never gonna get a girl!" The boy was knocked aback from his chair, awed by her blazing spirit, then bowed down to her as he said, "Y-you're right. I should be more confident in myself!" A devilish snicker broke off from Jillian's lips, and she patted the boy's head as if to boost himself up. "Yep. Be more confident in yourself. Girls don't like men who have too low a self esteem." With that, her client stood up, thanked her graciously, and walked out of the line, in which a girl replaced his confessor situation.
Her friend, Sasha Hanadera, who always accompanied her during these endeavors, leaned over and remarked, "I thought you were 'The Matchmaker', not the 'Confidence Specialist'." Jillian held up a hand in front of Sasha's face, and retorted as she twirled a finger about, "Different methods are used for different people. Each of my clients have different personalities and needs, thus, I deploy different methods in order for them to confront their significant other." "My, my. She makes a good point, Sasha. Looks like you lose the argument again. Don't worry though; there's still another!" Her childhood friend, Felicity Brilliantes, piped up with her usual cheerful smile. "Aaww, shaddup. And when did this become a contest huh?" Jillian raised both her hands towards her friends, signaling them to shush, which they promptly did so.
When she took a good look at her current client, her eyes went wide as soon as she recognized who it was: Miss Lilian Lovette, a pretty girl with soft, golden hair and gentle blue eyes, who was both admired and scorned by many. What would she be doing in here? Jillian thought curiously to herself. With her looks and personality, she could snag any man right from anyone's nose, so what's the whole point of even coming to the ever famous 'Matchmaker'? Nevertheless, she was now dealing with a client, and whether she liked it or not, she had to listen to her whims and woes, even IF she is regarded as the biggest sl*t in the whole school. Propping up a business-like atmosphere, Jillian clears hr throat, looks at Lilian straight in the eyes, and asks, "How may I help you?"

Lilian blushed, and stared at the ground. "I-I need your help." She spoke softly, rubbing her hands together, wringing them around her scarf as they shook. Her mind was in overdrive, recollecting old relationships, the good that ended badly, the bad that ended worse. She swallowed heavily. "I... I want to find the one.." She chose her words carefully, finally looking up to stare pleadingly at the Matchermaker. Her hands soon fell to her sides as she bit her cheek, and spoke louder, and a little more confidently.
"And I know you the only one I can turn to."

Jillian listened attentively to this angel of a girl who was surprisingly, coming to her for advice for her love life. Her body inclined in a casual position, she listens to her seemingly uncertain words of trying to find that special someone who would love her forever and ever. Great... Another cliche, she thought to herself as she mentally rolled her eyes, finding this whole thing a bit too redundant. She was here to bring two people who were in love together, that was true, but she wasn't there to arrange marriages, like Lilian had put it.
Despite that, she pretty much knew what she actually meant, but before she could even open her mouth to reply, a hand from behind her grabbed the collar of her shirt and pulled her away from Miss Lovette. "What the hell are you doing?" Sasha asked in a harsh whisper, raising a hand over her mouth so that no one else would hear their private conversation. "What the hell do you think I'm doing? Helping her, of course!" Jillian replied as she jerked her head away from her friend's grasp, rubbing her sore neck. "And why exactly do you need to do that? With that seemingly innocent face, she can pick up any guy she wants, so what's her problem, coming to bother us like this?" She replied, her whole face contorting into a contemptuous scowl. As expected from the pessimist. "How should I know? I'm just doing what I need to do. And besides, if you're so interested in her own intentions, why don't you ask her yourself?" Jillian retorted irritatedly. "Hmph. No way. I would never talk to a f*cking b*tch like her," Sasha spat brusquely, making an anime style sweat drop appear on Jillian's face. It somehow irritated her how judgmental this girl was, but she could do nothing about it. Time and again, the saying 'Don't judge a book by its cover' was repeated so many times before her eyes, but somehow, it made no difference at all.
"Really? I think she's a nice person," Felicity chimed in, a sparkle of mirth twinkling in her hazel, brown eyes. "Felicity, my dear, you think everyone is nice," Sasha snapped, annoyed at how oblivious she could be of Lilian's supposed true and malicious nature. Tired of all this pointless interruption and commotion, Jillian leaves the two to their usual squabbles; it often happened regularly, but she was pretty much sure that nothing serious was going to happen anyway.
"I'm sorry if I was suddenly pulled out of our conversation," Jillian apologized as she sat down on her chair. "Now, getting back to business... Do you have any particular guy that you have your eyes set on? Because if you don't, then I can't help you. I may be called the 'Matchmaker', but I'm not the person to come to if you want to hook up with somebody, as some people have often mistaken me to be," she added in a firm voice, wanting her client to understand that she was not, in any way, a human mixer.

Lilian had heard bits and pieces of the conversation, but ignored most of it in favor of staring at the ground and ignoring the drooling stares of the men around her. "Well.. I didn't really have anyone in mind.." She felt her face heat up as she spoke. "I just thought you could help me find someone, anyone, better than my past relationships.." Lilian look at ," Jillian. "I'm not even meaning a guy," she spoke boldly. "I just want someone. Anyone who won't treat me like I'm a whore, or something worse!"
Lilian felt her eyes water, and she slowly swung her head back and forth, breathing deeply. She stopped to stare at Jillian, her eyes darting to Felicity's bright face, and Sasha's scowl.

"Hmm..." Jillian hummed as she rubbed a chin thoughtfully, deciding her choice of words very carefully. Her eyes silently wandered over to the back of Lilian, where the line of romantically agitated boys and girls seem to be fidgeting and complaining, wondering what's took 'The Matchmaker' so long in dealing with her current client. Probably thinking that their own problems are more important than others... What impatient, self-centered brats! She thought to herself, throwing an intimidating and fiery glare to a boy at the back who seemed to be frowning with impatience.
She had already chosen to help this girl though, for two reasons that probably anybody other than herself can't understand. For one, she sympathized with this girl, who seemed to be in the pits when it came to actual relationships. Sure, she has the looks and personality, but if the other person isn't any more decent in thinking or feelings, the relationship will fail... HARD. Most girls would definitely disagree with her helping the renowned supposed tramp, especially since jealousy amongst them seemed to be on the rise of late. No one really takes the sides of pretty girls, which makes it even more risky on Jillian's part, but she didn't care. She sincerely wanted to help Lilian, who seemed very much to be truthfully determined in actually finding someone who would truly love her, even if it wasn't a man, as she had valiantly declared. Jillian must admit, she was slightly surprised when she said that, but nowadays, same sex couples were more or less accepted in society, so she hid her own shock to herself.
Two, the whole idea of the excitement when it came to helping someone find their significant other and tailing in the sidelines, watching their love blossom was something that Jillian truly enjoyed. She loved seeing the fruit of her endeavors unfold into something worth her sights. It didn't always work out in the end (the relationships), mind you, but she always felt like patting herself on the back whenever she saw two lovers together who were together because she helped; it was mostly the clients who did all the work anyway. Besides, the angst in finding that one, true person keeps her in the mood to actually keep working, so why not?
Finally deciding that she would definitely help Lilian search for her knight in shining armor or whatever, she leans over towards the pretty blonde, wearing a serious expression on her face to deliberately make her nervous. After a long pause, she lifted up a fist slowly, then flicked her thumb upwards whilst saying, "I accept your challenge."

Lilian's face brightened as she jumped up from her seat with a smile. "Thank you so much!" She bowed hastily, before calming herself down. The boys and girls in the line behind her nodded in appreciation that finally the line would move again. She caught of few of the groans, aimed at her. He 'hmph'd at them, with a smirk. "Thank you, again. I appreciate your help." She thanked JIllian again, her face softening wit a danty smile.

[I guess you're right. Yay! *is glad her RP partner is also awesome*]
"Yeah, yeah..." Jillian replied to Lilian's barrage of 'thank you's as she waved her hand about dismissively, her expression bored and hasty, yet somehow showing a hint of embarrassment from too much expressive appreciation from her client. "Now get a move on, will you? The people at the back will kick you out if you linger any longer... Next!" When the awaited signal for another client came in, another girl inched her way past Lilian and took her seat respectively on the chair. Before she could say a word though, the shrill and almost ear splitting sound of the bell resonated throughout the hallways, causing the students who had not been able to get their rare chance for some advice at love to groan exasperatingly, flashing menacing glares towards Lilian's direction. My, my, does she make enemies fast, Jillian thought to herself.
Spinning her desk to face the front of the classroom, Jillian also adjusts her seat to the proper position. The line of students that had gathered before her was now beginning to disperse, as it was now time for class. "Jillian.. I think you just made a very devastating choice there," Sasha said as she threw a small paper ball at the girl's head, which bounces from her skull and onto the floor, rolling to a halt just a few centimeters away from one leg of her desk. Jillian swerved around, a vein pulsing on her forehead, and retorts, "She's a goddamn client Sasha. Get over it." Sasha simply twirls her silky, brown hair around her finger and raises her brilliant, blue eyes towards Jillian sheepishly in reply, a sly grin spreading across her lips. Trying to act all cute huh? We'll see about that, she thought with a haughty smirk.
"EEEEWWWW!!" Jillian cried out out as she leaned over and poked Sasha's nose, causing it to rear up like a pig's snout. Drawing her arm back, she bursts out laughing, hands around her abdomen, at her now infuriated friend, who was also blushing like mad with embarrassment, noticing that all the students in her classroom had now witnessed that scene. Sasha rolled up a filler notebook that was shoved into her bag, and whacked Jillian repeatedly wherever necessary.
"Ow! Ow! Hey..." Jillian yelled in pain, although she was still laughing maniacally from her reaction as her friend continually smacked her with the notebook, her cheeks flaring up out of irritation. But the sound of clicking, leather shoes on the floor pavement caused both girls to stop their crazy antics, and slowly and stiffly, they focused their attention to the front of the classroom towards the blackboard, where certainly enough, a tall man with dark brown hair and piercing black eyes stood in front, his erect posture and renowned scowl exuding an aura of arrogance and brilliance. Yup, as expected, it was Mr. Benjamin.
"Oh? It looks like you two are having fun. If you're planning to act like care-free and totally immature children, please, feel free to go to the local nursery's playground. I'm sure that even over-sized chimpanzees like you will definitely have no trouble fitting in," he said, a disdainful smirk curving up on his thin lips. Jillian and Sasha scowled angrily in reply, and silently sat back down in their seats, slightly humiliated in front of everyone. Mr. Benjamin sniffed out his breath with a 'hmph', and turned towards the blackboard, intending to begin on today's Math lesson. Jillian turned around towards Sasha as soon as he wasn't looking, and they both reached out to each other and shook hands, indicating that they had already made up; when it came to Mr. Benjamin, they both honestly agreed that he was a top grade *sshole.

[[*is glad her RP buddy is awesome too!* lolz]]
Lilian hurried off as the bell rang, to her next class, and honestly not one of her favourites: Gym. She burst into the gym just as some of the last kids were struggling to work their way into the crowded locker rooms. She sighed in relief, she hated being late. Hurriedly she got in line behind the other students, and patienly (a sharp contrast to said students) waited for an opening to present itself, and let her sneak by.
Finally, after what felt like ages, things calmed down and the blonde was able to slip past the others, easily with her small frame, and dart over to her locker. She set her bag on top, carefully sliding off her shoes first, then her skirt. It was a known fact that you wanted to change quickly, or else be trampled at some point. Just as she was pulling her s**t over her head, the hem reting a few inches before the shorts ended, Mr.Pico's sharp whistle rang out with a cry of
"Stu-udents!"
Lilian followed behind her classmates yet again, to line up. Just as she walked out of the locker room, however, Mr.Pico's soft hand landed on her shoulder, and he held out a note. "Lilian dear, would you be a doll and take this to Benjy?" Lilian blushed furiously, trying to think of some excuse, but came up empty-handed. He smiled and waved her off. "You look very nice today, Lilian!" The blonde blushed again, and jogged hastily out of the gym to ignore the stares and glares of others.
She jogged back to wear she had just came from, awkwardly shuffling into the classroom as quietly as possible. Of course, Mr.Benjamin was at the fron of the class, leaving her to walk silently to the front, and shakily hold out the note. "A n-note, from Mr.Pico.."

Just as the name of Mr. Pico was mentioned, Mr. Benjamin's face immediately grew as pale as a block of smokey ice, dreading whatever kind of sick but supposedly love dovey message he might have written on the note. As he took the note, Jillian noticed that his usually impaling black eyes had grown quite clouded, and beads of sweat formed all around his face. Tapping Sasha's desk behind her, she points towards the seemingly flustered teacher with an amused smile, and they both snicker, knowing that the message was indeed, from 'the gay teacher at P.E.'
As Mr. Benjamin sat down slowly in the teacher's chair to actually read the note after gawking at for a long time, murmurs and mumbles could be heard slipping out from her classmates' lips, half of them aimed jokingly at the two teachers' uncanny relationship, while half of them directed at Lilian, who was standing about awkwardly all by herself. "Pfft... What the devils is she doing here, of all places??" Sasha said loudly enough for the blond to hear. "I don't know... Probably to b***h around?" One of the students piped up, obviously a girl, causing most of the females to snicker devilishly in their seats.
"Sasha! Stop that," Jillian scolded, leaning over with her brows wrinkling in annoyance. "What?" She protested innocently, shrugging her hands, "I was only asking myself why she would be here, and the others replied, to their own accordance." Jillian rolled her eyes, becoming even more annoyed, and asked, "Isn't that because she's delivering a note from Mr. Benjamin's girlfriend??" She said, trying to avert the attention from the poor Lilian to the fidgeting Mr. Benjamin, who seemed to be on the verge of explosion. All of the students inside snickered quietly in their seats at Jillian's joke, which caused the blasted b*stard of a teacher to look up and frown angrily at Jillian. "Miss Heartlace, out.. NOW." "Whaat? But it was just a jo-" "I said... NOW!" He yelled through gritted teeth, rendering the whole class speechless and silent. Jillian let out an exasperated sigh, then rose up from her seat and proceeded towards the door. As she passed by Mr. Benjamin, she muttered scornfully with a mocking smirk, "No wonder these kids hate you..." He snapped his head from the note upon hearing her indecipherable mumblings, and flashed her an infuriated glare, "What was that?!" Shrugging in reply, she walks out of the room, slams the door shut, and stands about the corridors with dreadfully nothing to do.
"This is stupid.." Mr. Benjamin whispered to himself as he tore the note into pieces with an angry scowl on his face. He then turned towards Lilian whilst rubbing his temples, and said, "Please inform Mr. Pico that I cannot eat lunch with him today. I am very busy with work." At the sound of their supposed 'date', snickers could be heard sounding from different parts of the room, but as the haughtily arrogant teacher slammed his fist against the blackboard, the whole class went silent once again. He then went back to teaching his lesson, pretending as if nothing significant happened for today.

Lilian shivered in the air conditioned classroom, closing her eyes tightly to ignore the rude comments; her face heated up as she heard Jillian attempt to change the subject. As Mr.Benjamin spoke to her, she queaked, nodded, and hurried out of the classroom.
She got as far as the hallway before stopping to calm herself down. She looked to her right to see Jillian leaned angrily against the lockers. "Thank you for trying to change the subject.." She said softly, stepping closer. "I'm sorry if Mr.Pico's note got Mr.Benjamin all riled up," she apologized, rubbing her hands together agian nervously.

"Jeez... What the hell is his problem? He's as stuck up as... as... Gaaah! I can't even find the words the describe his arrogance!" Jillian cried out, ruffling her fiery, red hair out of frustration. "It was just a joke... Jeez." Being sent out of the classroom wasn't really a big deal for her though, since in a way, she was a minor delinquent, causing trouble every once in while. It was Mr. Benjamin's lack of a sense of humor was what pissed her off. Sighing, she closed her eyes and shook her head slightly, trying to forget about the whole incident. She was in the hallways now, so she couldn't enter the classroom unless that b*stard's class was over. No use mulling over it I suppose, she reminded herself.
"Thank you for trying to change the subject..." Said a soft voice, and her eyes immediately jolted open and her head turned to the sides to see who it was. It was Lilian, and she seemed to be very nervous, although Jillian didn't know what exactly there was to be anxious about. "I'm sorry if Mr. Pico's note got Mr. Benjamin all riled up," she apologized. "Hmph.. What are you apologizing for? It's not your fault anyway; I got in trouble because of what I did, and that's that," Jillian said, although she truly appreciated her consideration of the person affected. In other words, herself.
Raising her head to peer at the clock, she notices that it was only twenty minutes until current classes ended. She snapped her head back towards Lilian, who, to other people and teachers, might seemed to be dilly dallying about. "Get back to class... It's not worth your time staying here and thanking me all day. Besides, you'll get in trouble too," she said, poking a thumb to her right in order to prompt Lilian into going back.

Lilian gasped, and began jogging back down the hall. "Try not to get into too much trouble!" She teased as she ran, slipping out the door at the end of the hallway and hurrying back to the gym.
Once inside, she immediately tried to avoid Mr.Pico, but of course, she wasn't the slyest. He came up behind her, looking hopeful with a giddy smile. Unable to lie to the older man, she improvised. "Mr.Benjamin said he's really really busy-"
"And wants me to have lunch with him in his class!" Lilian snapped her mouth shut as Mr.Pico let out an unmanly sigh of content, and patted her shoulder agian. "Thank you muchly, deary!" He walked back to his office, grabbing his whistle and signalling for everyone to change.
This won't end well.. Lilian told herself as she started towards the locker rooms again.

Jillian sighed, very much bored of being in her current situation, and started tapping her foot impatiently as she looked about the empty as a graveyard hallways. If this was Texas, she was sure she'd see a tumbleweed passing by; the lack of spirit or any kind of lively activity made her cringe in despair as she leaned against one of the metal lockers. She loved some peace and quiet every now and then, but not this kind where she got because she was thrown out of class.
Suddenly, a pitter patter of footsteps echoed in the hallways, which made Jillian freeze up with nervousness. Thinking that it was another teacher, she started to grit and grind her teeth together, hoping so much that is was, instead, just another student who was sent out for making trouble, just like her. As the slow and steady rhythmic beat of the shoes drew nearer, she could feel her chest tighten, causing her to hold her breath as she anticipated the person behind those anxiety-causing steps: were they a teacher's, or a student's? She didn't know at this point, but she definitely hoped -even wished- that it was the latter.
"Oh... Hi Jillian!" Said the guy who appeared as he swerved to a turn on a heel, facing towards her. Letting out a sigh of relief, she quickly pulls herself together as the nervousness fades, then looks up to the boy who possessed messy, lawn green hair and soft, brown eyes, and exclaims, "You scared me, Paul!" "Huh... I did?," he asks, waving his hand slightly towards her in a casual greeting, "Got in trouble too, huh?" "Yeah.. How'd you guess?" She replied sarcastically with a smirk. "Oh, it's pretty obvious," he retorts, giving back a friendly smile instead as he leans back against a locker and shoves his hands into his pockets. "So what brings you here?" He asks curiously. "The stuck up a-hole just kicked me out of class because I teased him about Mr. Pico being his girlfriend.." She spat out the last words as if they were a sip of distasteful liquor. Jillian just abhorred liquor. Paul snickered at that statement, clasping a hand over his mouth, "Pfffftttt... No wonder. You should be more careful of what you say around him..." Jillian simply sniffed out her breath irritatedly, and said, "Well.. It was the truth.. Anyways, why are you here?" Paul lifted his gaze towards Jillian from the floor, and replied calmly, "Me and my buddy were passing notes, but I was the one who was caught with it." "Well, you don't seem angry about it much," she remarked as she fiddled with her collar, feeling the heat starting to melt her brain. "That's because I can't do anything about it, can I?" "Yeah... You're right."
They both looked up simultaneously towards the clock, and noticed, with much frustration, that only five minutes had passed away. "Looks like we'll be here for a while, huh?" Paul commented as he shuffled his foot back and forth across the floor. "Eeeyup."
