Biographical Information
Personality: Noama is an enigma amongst the Jedi. Unlike his peers, he seems unable to control his emotions. On the one hand, he is a good and kind individual, caring of his friends and loving of his mentors and partner. However, when the heat of battle comes down on him, Noama seems unable to control himself. He gets angry easily, and can lash out at his enemies or even his friends. Due to this inability to control his emotions, the Council has always been very worried about where his path in life will lead him.
Biography: It is unknown exactly where Noama Koth was born, or when, or who his parents were, so his age is a rough estimate more than anything. He was discovered as an infant on Nar Shadaa, the Smugglers Moon which orbits Nal Hutta, home world of the Hutts. He was found by Zabrakian Jedi Master, Especi Koth, while a Hutt crime lord known as Goma was attempting to sell the infant as a slave. But Especi sensed an incredibly strong level of Midiclorians in the baby, and could not, under any circumstances allow this to occur. He revealed himself to Goma, and brandished his lightsaber, declaring that he was a member of the Jedi Council on Coruscant, and unless they surrendered the child to him and shut down their personal slave trade business, he would make life increasingly difficult for them. Goma, fearing the Jedi's retribution should he refuse, immediately agreed. Especi then took the infant to Coruscant where he was already preparing to take on one student, a Miraluka female. With a little convincing he was able to get the Council to let him take on two students, and so, the Human boy and the Miraluka girl came into the care and instruction of Jedi Master Especi Koth. Since the boy had no known living relatives, nor any relatives at all, it came to Especi to name him, and so, he began calling him Noama, a Zabrakian name meaning 'fearless', and gave the boy his last name of Koth, effectively adopting Noama. For years he trained under Especi, alongside the Miraluka, the two of whom became incredibly close friends, nearly siblings. When it came time for them to become Jedi Knights, both passed their tests with flying colors and advanced. Since that time, the Jedi Council has found it unhealthy to separate them, thus sending the two of them on every mission one of them was to receive.
