After seeing a similar thread in the GCD. I thought I would share the idea with you guys. With tektek try creating the parents of your character, biological or non. Even write a story if you want. <3

I..... haven't really picked a last name at all, so ignore that for now. xd

This is Barry, Papa to X.



Barton guard since he left school, he taught her most of what she knows, and trained her basically since she could walk. She takes after him quite a bit, and his support really did put her where she is today. He still works over in Barton, and while he didn't particularly enjoy her choice to leave, he let her go knowing she had different battles to fight. He just hopes she'll come visit every once in a while.

Hayley never knew her mom. From what she's gathered, she died either during childbirth or shortly thereafter. Her dad doesn't really like to talk about it, and she doesn't pry. She likes to be thankful for the amazing father she does have than waste time worrying about the mother she never knew.

((And now you know why Hayley's feminine tendencies are limited at best. Raised by her father, straight into the guard. And Pie, Robert is so cute! Very Dad-like. xd ))

Mercy Witch of Ra

She grew up in Barton where she was born and was taught the arts of the Sun God Ra. Mercy wasn't really the loudest child in school, she was always the one sitting in the corner away from everyone else. Of course the school thugs picked on her until she finally snapped and cursed them all with the wrath of Ra. The bullies suffered a second degree sun burn and she was the most feared in school. This left Mercy with little to no friends during the rest of her school years. However, these friends that stuck with her were her friends for life.

Several times she attempted to find a potential partner but alas, the reputation of the "Merciless Wrath of Ra" always sent the males running away in absolute terror. So Mercy gave up on man-hunting and returned to her full duties as Barton's Witch of Ra. One day she was sent out to catch some Great Monarch butterflies for some dye. On this fateful event, she met Cepheus who was collecting ingredients for his experiments.

Needless to say, she was bitten by the love bug and helped him instead of running off to catch the monarchs. At the end of it all, she returned home without the butterflies but still smitten. Mercy spent the next few months attempting to catch the monarchs but always failed to find them. She almost gave up when she met Cepheus again. To her surprise, he brought her a box full of the monarchs (which would explain why she never found them in the first place!) and from there they started dating.

Eventually they married and moved to Aekea where they raised their daughter, Black. After Black was a full fledged Witch of Ra, Mercy moved back to Barton to continue her duties as Barton's Witch of Ra. She still keeps an eye on Black, however, to see if her daughter hasn't jumped too far into the deep end.

Cepheus Zephys (Black actually has a last name?)

Cepheus was born and raised in Durem. His attitude is similiar to H.R. Wesley's Edmund in general but he does like a few laughs here and there. He worked as as an apothecary for Durem, making potions and medicine for the like. He was interested in what made things the way they were. In other words, he liked to pick things apart and put them back together again to see if it still was the same. He was a bookworm and in his pursuit of knowledge, keeps forgetting to cut his hair. He got into alchemy as one of the ways he used to understand things better.

For one of his experiments, he required ingredients that were only available outside of Durem. So, he ventured out and along the way he met Mercy who was of great help to him. She knew all the spots and how to harvest a few of the ingredients he needed. After everything was wrapped up and packed, he bade good bye to the witch from Barton and headed back to Durem.

When he came back out from his laboratory after his experiments, he heard rumors of the witch attempting to capture Great Monarchs for one reason or another. Cepheus decided that he owed her some help for his own harvesting, he might as well help her in return. He captured Great Monarchs in a box and traveled to Barton to find a near morally defeated Mercy. He gave her the butterflies and the two started dating thereafter.

Eventually they married and moved to Aekea (he was relocated there). They raised their daughter, Black in the city. Cepheus was promoted to a licensed pathologist in the Aekea General Hospital but he still does some side work as an alchemist. If anything Black probably inherited her madness from her information-gathering obsessed father, who is still in Aekea.

My mom's a tavern girl at a more... risque tavern in Durem.
Daddy was a drifter with a biplane and well... they started dating had fun, she got pregnant, and he left in his Biplane.

Mommy's ear are fake, which she had to wear on the job. As for the tail: I'm a Werecoon. I was bitten by this sexy girl I was out with on a date one full-moon night. She's since managed to control her urges, but it was kind of a deal breaker, and we agreed to be friends.

PS, oddly, I've never seen my mom with a man...

I put a lot of thought into the character development. There's more back story about his parents that has a dante's inferno feel to it I'm gonna introduce later on.

And they're are reasons why I haven't revealed the entire story of Bob.
