It has always annoyed me that Two Weapon Fighting only works with melle weapons. While there may be feats elsewhere to correct this, I prefer to craete my own. These feats work specifically with a one-handed melee weapon and a crossbow, preferably hand crossbow.

Slash and Shoot (Fighter)
This feat gives the user two-weapon fighting bonuses to people using a crossbow.
Prerequisites: Quick Draw, Dexterity 15, Rapid Reload, base attack bonus +3
Benefits: As Two Weapon Fighting, except that these benefits only apply when using a one-handed weapon and a crossbow. Specifically, your penalties on attack rolls for fighting with two weapons are reduced. The penalty for your primary hand lessens by 2 and the one for your off hand lessens by 6.

A sword and hand crossbow fighter with this feat would make for an interesting NPC. smile
