How you know what nature you have to train certain pkmns?

I know the natures............ but how you know if your blaziken is better adamant than modest....... or the other way round :/ how you decide which nature to use?

An adamant blaziken would use more physical attacks cuz of atk increase and a modest would use more special attacks cuz of sp.atk increase.
depends what moves you wanna teach them and what you want to do with them i guess..

but....... how do I know if a nature is bad for my pkmn.......
someone told me it had to do with the EVs or something like that :/
