Hello everyone,
At the end of October the guild will be holding a new event!
This time round it's for something very close to my heart, Motor Neurone Disease. We're going to be hosting our own "Time to Defeat MND" event.
When Daylight Savings Time ends the clocks go back and suddenly there's an extra hour in the day.
We're going to use that extra hour. In fact, we're going to use the entire day.
24 hours, with giveaways, contests, and hopefully some free art. A new one every hour.
This means that we're going to need lots of items (I'm not planning on giving away 400 this time, I've learnt my lesson! XD), and some artists and charities/generous Gaians who are willing to give up an hour and some energy to help out.
We're looking to gather a collection of the following items:
- Timepiece - Pocket watch/wrist watch (Barton Jeweler's) - Space items (Stephen Hawkings = Professor of Physics = MND sufferer). - Baseball items (Lou Gehrig baseball player = Lou Gehrig's Disease = form of MND). - Anything else to do with time (unfortunately those bloody kitchen clocks in Houses are all too common). - Some book items (Tuesdays With Morrie = famous book about MND).
If you've got anything that falls in to those catagories that you don't mind parting with, please send it to this account!
If you have any questions, ideas, people who can draw that are happy to give an hour, post below or PM this account!
Thank you everyone!
