I am in the midst of creating an RP I've had on the brain for quite a while now. I have rewritten the main story at least four times, and revised each adaptation countlessly. I plan for my RP to manifest in a medieval setting, and also throw in sides of magick and mysticism. I would like to recieve input from everyone on how I am doing so far, and appropriate ideas on how to continue the story. I also have some questions I would like to be answered.

Eridimus. A land once stricken, and plagued throughout with war, famine, and sickness. Humans, the primitive race derived from the Mammalians, but had mysteriously appeared from the west on their enormous floating blimps, have done nothing but aid in the imminent destruction of Eridimus with their constant need to divide, expand, and conquer. The Mammalians, the ancient race of animal-like sapiens that had crossed the Great Ocean from the east, had greeted these strangers with open arms when they first arrived. For a time, they shared their culinary masterpieces, literature, technology, religion, and an exorbitant amount more of their culture with eachother. They even began interbreeding, as a sure sign that the races would coexist with one another, but as the years past, and the Human's political leaders ran their cycles, the bareskins began to hunger for more than what the Mammalians offered.
It first started with a small gold mine seizure in the southern regions of Eridimus, north of what is now modern day Cefarus, in 330 A.C. (After Contact), The Mammalian Elder's made a small notion of this, and sent a discrepant notice to the Human Council expressing their concerns. The Humans responded respectfully with a letter that described the current economic climate, and how that their population was suffering. The Mammalian's contracted a generous donation to the Human's, and the Human's, in kind, returned the mine. In 332 A.C., scattered reports told of an extremely large force marching from the Human capital of Sol'Kesh, to the grand Erdimus capital of Olta. This immediately caught the attention of the Elder's, and they frantically sent letters of worried inquiry.
No response came. The Elder's hastily assembled their forces, but were caught to little, to late. The Humans overtook Olta with a divine wind at their backs, and thus began The Great Crusade. Generals from the Mammalian homeland were sent to aid the Eridimus Mammalians, and with them came the harbinger of near extinction for both races. The races indulgded in bloodshed and subterfuge of the lowest kinds. The fighting continued for thirty years, until the ultimate evil had taken notice of the ongoing violence. A vehement force boiled within the depths of the Verdan Pits, a dark and powerful god had manifested itself into the the magma of the world. It fed off of the unrest of the people of Eridimus, and growed with strength with every passing year.
In 381 A.C. there was a major skirmish between the Human and Mammalian forces on the Farplains. The battle lasted weeks, and there was much death. This is when the Dark God, Abyss, made itself known. With his 13 Dark Generals, Abyss and his Legion descended upon the two forces from the foothills of the Verdan Mountains, occupying Olta at the same time. The Dark Generals conquered the battlefield mercilessly, their soldiers of evil tearing through Human and Mammalian alike. Within an hour, the battle ended, and the Dark Generals stood unanimously victorious. Still foaming at the mouth from each other's fierce battles over the decades, the two combating races were too prideful to ask assistance from one another.
It was then that a group overly ethereals, together known as the Table of Divination, took notice of one of their kin's interference in the natural world, and decided to take action. As powerful as they were, the gods' powers were minimal in the physical world, especially compared to Abyss', so they took one of their few options. Through the delicate art of shireti, or destiny branding, the gods imbued several children with a brand. Each brand retained equal portions of the gods' power to create a seal to contain the Dark God. There were many who would see these chilren to die, however, and unleash their master unto the world. At first, the Dark God and his Generals paid these small blips of power no mind, but as time went on, their power began to increase, and the Dark God's concern rose.

1. Should I make the RP based on the second generation of the Branded?
2. Should I toss in another/more race(s) as well? If so, what races?
3. If yes to Question 1: Should the Council and Elders still be at war?
4. If yes to Question 2: Should the aforementioned race(s) be involved in the dispute between the Council and the Elders?
5. Should I give each of the Branded special powers?
If there are any suggestions, comments, or questions to me, feel free to post them. Please and thank you.
