The Summer Event will soon start, teds!
What camp have you joined?
Take note--you can post in other camps!
I believe this is due to the pranks we shall be inflicting on rival camps in the event.

I sat back and watched others at camp. I didn't find the camp pranks or the prizes very interesting. Maybe I'm showing my age?

No. There was nothing very prankish about the attacks, nor prizes worth the harder struggle to gain them. This was not a satisfying event, I fear. sad

I enjoyed camp a great deal as a cub, and these options seemed like caricatures of my memories. Miradora joined the science camp and hesitantly tried to find someone to attack. There was nobody available! That convinced her that the whole thing wasn't worth it.

The only item of the prizes truly of interest was the Diet Food, I fear. Friend Whatsit is enjoying the piles of junk food it creates. lol
We merely went and bought what we wanted in the Marketplace.

Eirwyn made a Doctor Who topic in the Science Camp--The Doctor Who Bunkhouse! biggrin
It was very successful, had many regulars who became friends and started a new guild to keep their ties after the thread was gone, and her "Favorite Doctor" poll received just short of 1100 votes! lol
David Tennant, of course, led the way with about 55% of the vote.
