I totally despise competitive battling. I don't like participating in it. I don't like training and breeding for it but I DO like to have Pokemon ready for when I have a friendly match with a friend who does EV train. Truthfully, I kind of ev train (Like I tend to focus on natures a little and what a Pokemon needs to fight for better stats).
I just don't know who'll be the best to use when battling my friends. I have 7 I need to decide with and only 1 is seriously EV trained.

Rhyperior w/ Leftovers
252 HP/ 80 Attack/ 176 Defense
Adamant Nature / Solid Rock
Earthquake/Stone Edge/Avalanche/Substitute

Ninetales w/ Charcoal
Unknown EVs
Timid Nature / Flash Fire
Dark Pulse/Flamethrower/Will-O-Wisp/Nasty Plot

Raichu w/ Light Ball
Unknown EVs
Hardy Nature / Static
Thunderbolt/Surf/Volt Tackle/Strength
*Poketopia Event Pikachu*

Empoleon w/ Quick Claw
Unknown EVs
Jolly Nature / Torrent
Rock Climb/Ice Beam/Waterfall/Flash Cannon

Leafeon w/ Raxor Fang
Unknown EVs
Brave Nature / Leaf Guard
Aerial Ace/X-Scissor/Seed Bomb/Rock Smash

Staraptor w/ King's Rock
Unknwon EVs
Adamant Nature / Intimidate
Aerial Ace/Fly/Close Combat/U Turn

Gardevoir w/ Mind Plate
Unknown EVs
Naive Nature / Synchronize
Psychic/Calm Mind/Shadow Ball/Energy Ball

None are fully level 100 yet. They range from 26 to 63 so, the stats will be no help. Any advice will be appreciated, and I have no desire to re-breed anyone, sadly. I restarted Platinum so many times when I first got it because of Piplup (he kept getting Adamant). And Ninetales with Energy Ball is...impossible for me. Thank you~

I think the light ball only works on pikachu .___.''

If you have Aerial ace, Brave bird works fantasticaly on a Staraptor as a last resort move. It does TONS of damage.

And why not replace Rock Climb on Empoleon with Shadow Claw?

Light ball doesn't work on Raichu.

I wish it did, but it unfortunately doesn't. xD

Also items like quickclaw are usually frowned upon in any kind of match... Just a heads up, so you don't get bitched at. x_x;

Also, I'm sure if you just find a TM, you'd be able to use energy ball on Ninetails. :/

i agree with craptacular...also instead of 2 fly moves how bout you replace one, preferably fly(it leaves you open in a turn and isn't even guaranteed to hit XP )with brave bird....or rather replace both for brave bird and return..i know its a normal type but just get staraptor's friendship up and it'll "return" the favor(i'm sorry i just had to use that rofl )...it has high attack at maxed friendship(i believe 102?)and it'll get STAB making it 156 on a regular target and it has no consepuences....that is my suggestion. smile

I find rhyperior to be awesome, but i agree with shik-sho about the light ball on raichu and energy ball for ninetales..can't you get that at the bettle frontier for some BP?

I realize that Empoleon moveset isn't the easiest to have but breeding might really help it...i agree about the shadow claw,as well

I think the leafeon is great....covers a lot of types!

and gardevoir is my favorite psychic so....its great anyway!!!!! blaugh

@shik-sho/bulbasaurr: Oh hey, your right about the Light Ball. lol Any idea what I can switch? : )

@Craptacular: I hate recoil moves. .___.; And Rock Climb was there cuz...I needed it on the field.

@bulbasaurr (again): Everyone I've fought against never minded the Quick Claw. : ) It doesn't work more than half the time anyways so, I'm okay. And for some stupid reason, Ninetales/Vulpix CANNOT be TM taught Energy Ball. I have the TM and tried and it doesn't work.

@sasukelt: I need Fly for the field. And I've always favored Aerial Ace. I never liked Return as an attack but maybe it would be nice for a change of pace. :/ I'll try Shadow Claw on Empoleon cuz I don't need rock climb anymore.
And thanks about Yggdrasil and Martel. ^^ Both are quite easy to get type coverage with. : )

@Bulbasaurr: i think the only way that Ninetails learns Energy Ball is if you breed and get a Vulpix with Energy Ball, which I have one at the moment ^^
