So, I thought as a way to encourage members to post, we might start a topic about how everyone's summer went... I'll start.
Mine was quite the busy summer, but it was adventurous. I managed to luckily stay single the entire summer. Most of my summer spent was preparing for my freshman year at my university this fall... w00t!
Some interesting things: 1) My Aunt and Uncle from the UK came and visited us for a week. They moved their about 2years ago, the little children I babysat now have the most adorable little accents
2) My mom, and my stepmom at two separate times both asked if I was going to get a gender reassignment surgery... I don't think they understand the difference between the G and the T in LGBT.
3) I attended a local Pride Festival, and it was, dare I say, awesome :3

Cool. I volunteered for the community. I looked for jobs, didn't get any though sad My sister who is in the army is coming to visit us next month. Hung out with friends a lot. That's about it.

I think the greatest thing about my summer was going to Otakon. It was amazing. Hm...I also looked for jobs, and found...nothing. Other than that, I think that I just watched anime, lazied about, and tried to enjoy my last summer before I have to start college. Granted, I had to say good-bye to a lot of my close friends though, which sucks. A lot...and am still in the process of that...and it's really messing me up. Which I don't like... I don't think I really did anything other than that...

I had a slow but interesting summer, picking up a night job and getting really absorbed into my Marvel Superheroes campaign, as well as madly working on my writing. My sleep schedule's gone to pot, but it's been worth it.

Oh I always wanted to go to one of those conventions. Was it cool? Saying good bye is rough, I know what that's like. Stay strong girl! Get all their face books XD
Oh Marvel super heroes campaign whats what about? I'm into Marvel, mostly the X-men, Spider man, and Runaways though.

The Marvel campaign is a tabletop RPG, kind of like D&D except with superheroes. It takes place in the Marvel universe, although I think the GM said we're running Earth 617, while the actual, official comic continuity is Earth 616. Essentially, each player creates a brand new superhero character, and then plays as that character. We get to run into a lot of the comic characters, though -- we've had some pretty frequent contact with the X-men, and Spider-Man has just started getting involved with our stuff, too.

Oh it was so much fun! I took a ton of pictures, and it was my first con...so...it was really great. Me and my friends are already planning to go again next year Only next year, we're going to cosplay. ^^ HAha...I do have all their facebooks... but it still sucks. But, I think I can be strong. And make it. Just because of your encouragement though. haha
Dude....those things always amazed me...I don't think I could do it. They seem so cool though...

Glad you had fun,I should make it a point to go. What was the general cost? Oh I see, that does sound interesting. I was trying to get a marvel r.p. guild going via helping someone else with theirs but it fell short lol
