Angel cradled Baby Aurora, in her arms trying to shield her from the sun's rays as much as she could. Aurora had just evovled from a lovely lotus blossom to a baby, who had a curious nature but could not put it to use yet because she couldn't see.
Aurora settled comfortably in her mother's arms as she walked, she couldn't see so she could just hear and that was about it. To her everything sounded different and calling out to her to explore and find out what made the noises but it was difficult because she couldn't see and her mother wouldn't put her down.

Ariana blew a kiss over her little lotus. Then she decided to go for a wander near the river. She put together her painting set and a blank scroll in case she found the inspiration for another piece. Slipping into a pale blue cheong sam she headed out the door. The sun was high and bright and she grabbed a parasol on her way out. A carriage near the mountain base was waiting and took her away past the farms.
She reached the outskirts of a small town and motioned to be let off. She placed a coin in the driver's hand and passed him a time to retrieve her. They bowed to each other and Ariana watched until he had passed across the horizon. After she turned and walked along the riverside.
As she crossed over a bridge she noticed a lady on the path ahead. She was carrying a royal blue blanket which seemed to be wrapped around an infant. The lady looked as though she were struggling a bit to keep it sheltered.
Ariana skipped over and held her parasol over the pair.

Angel blinks as a parasol appeared over her and Aurora she looked at who was providing it and smiled "thank you,that was very much appreciated" she said before shifting the bundle slightly. She thought to herself perhaps she should get a parasol as well.
Aurora shifted as her mother shifted her position and she tuned in her ears as she heard the soft pad of feet on the ground and her mother speaking. she squirmed about wanting to feel what it was.

Ariana nodded in reply and motioned her hand in front of her throat; showing she was mute. Then she passed the parasol over to the girl. She motioned the girl to the shade of a large tree at the side of the road. There was a ground blanket in her bag and she spread it out. Ariana bowed slightly, inviting the girl to take a seat.
As she looked closer she noticed that the small bundle was sprouting a pair of ears. She instantly realized it must be a lotus child as well. So this must be one of those fate type of meetings. She smiled as she guided the girl over to the blanket. She opened her bag and pulled out a few snacks and a notepad. The snacks she offered to the pair and the notebook she began to write in. She passed it to the girl.
"It is a pleasure to meet you. Please call me Xiaoli. I am sorry about the inconvenience about my voice. May I ask your names? I couldn't help but notice that you carry a lotus child. She is very sweet. My master and I too are raising young ones. If it's not too much would you mind if I painted you two? I am an artist and it is a lovely day out. I believe it will bring out the best of your features."

Angel took the parasol from the other girl and nodded a thank you, being careful not to wake Aurora. She walked over to the shade of the large tree and sat down on the blanket. "ahh..thank you" she said before holding Aurora in the crook of her arm. She smiled at the sight of snacks and took the notepad from the girl and read it.
"nice to meet you, too..My name is Angel and this is my child baby Aurora" she said gesturing to the bundles before pondering a bit about the question shaking her head "I wouldn't mind being painted" she answered with a smile.

Ariana wrote back. "Such beautiful names. Thank-you. Just stay there and act natural please."
Then she went about setting up her paints. She spread a large board and piece of paper on the ground. She dipped the brush in the ink and began tracing fine lines down the surface. Unfortunately she only had black ink on her however it still turned out lovely. She was very fortunate to have such lovely models. After a few twenty minutes she was finished. She let it set for a moment then took it over to the pair. She held it up with an inquisitive expression.

Angel smiles and looks at the finished painting "Its lovely" she said "you are a very talented girl" she said to the other. "just set the painting to the side for the time being,, i don't have enough hands for it" she said giggling a bit before shifting Aurora once more.

She bowed in thanks of the compliment. Then she looped her arms together and made a swaying motion as if she were rocking a baby. She looked towards Aurora then to Angel asking with her eyes.

Angel smiles and nods her head, handing Aurora off to her. She sighed in relief at being able to give her arms a rest. She tucked in Aurora's blanket a bit tighter around her just not to tight.

Ariana carefully took the small baby into her arms. She was surprisingly light. It was strange holding such a delicate life. Ari stroked a finger gently across one of Aurora's satiny ears. A smile broke out on Ariana's face. Soon she too would have a child like this. She rocked Aurora carefully then placed her back in her guardian's arms. She pulled the notepad out.
"She's an absolute darling! To tell you the truth I too have a lotus child. They have yet to be released from flower form yet. Perhaps I could bring them to meet you when they bloom? Here's my current location. I am staying with the lady Ricca in the palace just over those hills. Please do stop by anytime. On another note I have some tea with me. Would you care for some?"

Angel smiles at Ariana "well thank you" she answered "yes she is..a absolute darling..mommy's little baby" she said as she lightly kissed Aurora's forehead. Before noting down her current location. "both Aurora and I would Love to meet your lotus blossoms when they bloom." she finished.
She gazed at the tea "yes..I would love some" she answered before rocking Aurora while she slept in her hold. She looked down at her baby and smiled softly, she was growing up quickly.

A few days had past since Ariana had last saw Angel. Now she was standing under the same tree that they had shared their last meeting. However this time she was not alone. Little Huang lay nestled deep in her arms. She rocked him back and forth a she waited. Angel was supposed to meet her here soon for another picnic.

Angel strolled back into the valley and over to the tree they first met under she smiled as she spotted Ariana. As she go closer she noticed she was holding a little bundle of joy herself. She walked over to where she was, now that Aurora eyes were open,it was easier.
Aurora giggles and squeals before quieting down as they neared Ariana, she blinked and tilted her head to the side as she gazed curiously at the baby. She babbled and gestured with a little hand.

Noel cradled his newly blossomed boy in his arms as he sat at the edge of the pond where he first received the lotus. Now, His child had blossomed into a beautiful little child who eyes were mismatched, and his tail did not match his ears. None the less, he was the most adorable thing Noel had ever seen.
Juh smiled and gently tugged his fathers hair as he sat in his lap, admiring the world around him with his newly opened eyes.. It was beyond amazing to him, though surely he would never cease to amaze him. It was just so large, so vast to him.

Ariana had her hands full so she bowed her head smiling as Angel approached. She already had a blanket down and motioned them to sit. To make things easier she placed her little bundle down next to her. Huang's little snakelike tongue flicked in and out briefly. She pulled out her writing stuff and scrawled cheerfully.
"Hello! So good to see you again so soon. This little guy here is called Huang-di. I hope he and Aurora can get along."
