The Superior Studies of Science and Technologies

Location: Somewhere in Nevada
Superior Studies of Science and Technologies (SSST or Tripple S, T) is a very large science lab, dedicated to running experiments on animals but mostly Mutants. It is heavily guarded like a prison or concentration camp. One generator runs the entire place with a back up generator incase the original gets fried.
Only two of the mutants brought here for experimentation have ever escaped. First, a young woman that they had named Pyra. Second, a mutant who could become shadow.
The building is designed to withstand heavy assault, and the security forces are equipped with weapons designed to turn a mutant into little more than an ink stain on the ground.
Security is tight. Access is granted to those whom have voices that have been programmed into the main security system's voice recognition software, have a palm print and retina that pass the scanners, and who are not detected as carrying the mutant gene on their way in.

Saber Tooth lost his balance slightly and bumped into the wall, he glanced at Mystique and snarled. He didn't much like turbulence, but he liked it even less when there was someone sick on the plane. He didn't understand how someone that controlled toxic things and sicknesses got sick so often. He turned back to what he was doing and then heard what Toxic said about gas masks. He grumbled but decided he should follow, he didn't know the extent of the kid's power and he didn't feel like volunteering to find out.

Garrett Faulkner~ Toxic Toxic glanced out the window of the plane once he regained his balance and saw the building, what looked more like a concentration camp, that they would be invading shortly. Make the guards sleep, that's the first step...

It was so gloomy, so cold and off-putting. The building outside of the window was intensely intimidating and Vivienne started feeling more and more uncomfortable. A small surge lept through her arm, making the lighting in the jet flicker for a moment. She had hoped no one noticed and played it off as if she didn't either. She turned to Toxic, looking at the rest of the crew in silence. She didn't want to let them onto the fact that she was nothing but a ball of nerves at that point.

((Alright, we move on whether or not the others are coming. )) Garrett Faulkner~ Toxic Toxic felt the slight bump that said they landed and noticed her slight surge of electricity. "Game time," he whispered to no one and gratefully left the jet for land. He could see the large building in the distance, surrounded by a barbed wire fence. It was prison, it was a concentration camp and he didn't like the feeling that he got. You will pay in time for what you have done to our kind...testing us like animals. But then again, you may have made our strongest ally when we find her...

SaberTooth followed Toxic out of the jet and sniffed the air. They had landed far enough away from the labs so they wouldn't be spotted. So far, there was no one unusual around. "Stick to the plan til we get inside," he told everyone and then took the lead since he could lead them around traps quite easily.
He passed Toxic who seemed to have magically gotten better as soon as his feet touched the ground. In some ways, he felt for the kid, but then again, that was only in some ways. Right now, he would do whatever it takes to not be the subject of Magneto's wrath.

Garrett Faulkner~ Toxic Toxic tossed shock a gas mask and then handed each person an extra one just in case he had to use his powers around the scientists. He clipped two onto his belt and dashed off after the much older mutant. He stayed quiet, keeping his eyes on SaberTooth, if the man made any implication that something wasn't supposed to be there he had to be quick to act.
He glanced behind him to make sure that the other two were following. "Magneto wants those three alive," he reminded everyone. "Let me handle the guards until after we have the scientists. We may still need the guards," this time he singled out Victor. He knew that the man had a knack for killing and it wasn't very pleasant.

Spark made a noticeable effort to avoid SaberTooth. The man terrified her and she was going to do everything in her power not to get in his way or piss him off. She trotted up behind Toxic, following him around. She thought of him as her sort of mentor, and figured she was relatively safe around him. She watched attentively as they walked, carefully observing the environment. "Just uh. Tell me when you need me."

Sabertooth glanced at the two newest members as he trudged along. Then he reached for his gas mask. "Put your masks on kiddies," he said, though he talked to the entire group. He quickly followed his own advice, putting the fashionable gas mask on. He knew they were getting close and he didn't want it to be too late for anyone if Toxic let something loose. He sniffed the air again, there was a mixture of things, mainly plastic, but that was because of the mask.
His eyes darted about and he stopped abruptly in front of a large, clear area of sand. He held up a hand and glanced around, anyone that would be trying to hide would clearly be unsuccessful as the land was flat and full of sand. He picked up a rock and threw it into the circle of sand, immediately it began to sink. "Natural trap," he muttered

Garrett Faulkner~ Toxic Toxic stopped short just behind the tall, buff and quite fearsome man. Almost, bumping into him, which would have been a big mistake. He peered over the man's shoulder and watched the rock sink. "Wow," he said as he saw how wide the sink hole was. He knew that if any mutant was running from the guards, this would be where they would run. He quickly took notice of a couple more sink holes. "Natural," he asked, unsure if it was even possible to have so many so close to each other.

It was like a domino effect, or a car accident, though without the collision. Vivienne quit walking in time to stop just short or Toxic, noting how he nearly did the same with Sabertooth. As soon as directed, almost like she was being reprimanded, she pulled the gas mask over her face, and scanned the area with them. If there were so many sinkholes, she couldn't imagine what else would lie before them. She tapped Toxic gentle on the shoulder. "What now?"She asked, speaking breathily through the speech impeading gasmask.

Sabertooth laughed. "There aren't that many, and this is a desert, what did you kids expect, a sand castle?" He laughed and moved on to the side of the sink hole going around that way. He shook his head as he moved along, knowing that the others would follow him. There was enough space between the sink holes to move a vehicle. There really weren't that many, only three and the other two were small.

Garrett Faulkner~ Toxic Toxic shrugged and followed. He could see the guards at the gate, which also meant since there were no trees or anything to hide by, considering it was in the middle of a desert, they could see the mutants too.
He checked to make sure everyone had their gas masks on, then his hands began to glow a sickly yellow. "Time to sleep," he said with a grin and sent a stream of the same sickly yellow gas towards the guards at the nearest gate. He waited until the gas looked like it was affecting them and saw one of them collapse in a stone cold sleep. The other was fighting it and reached for his walkie talkie but collapsed just before he could.
Toxic grinned. "Aww...look, they didn't get their coffee today," he taunted and let the glow of his hands recede.

Sabertooth smirked when he heard Toxic. They boy had mouth, that was for sure. "Save your cheesy sayings for the girls," he said glancing at Spark. "We have a job to do." He didn't praise Toxic. He didn't feel that any mutant should be praised for doing such a simple task as putting the guards asleep, especially when the mission had yet to be accomplished. It was nothing to get all hyped up about. "Let's go," he ordered and they began to move again, he kept his gas mask on just in case any of the gas lingered in the air. He wasn't sure exactly how much control Toxic had over his poisons.
