  That's my fave turtle, the Leatherback turtle, which I work with every summer during nesting season, which runs from March 1st-August 31st every year in my country, Trinidad and Tobago. I am part of a group of tenacious volunteers that patrol the beaches at night to protect the nesting females that come up on the beach to dig their nests and lay their eggs. It's a tiring, but immensely rewarding job. 3nodding

I love turtles! I wish I could have two.
But I'm afraid I'm not able to give them a species-appropriate home.
I still like to go to the zoo and see the turtles there, though. <3

I have a tortoise. I like turtles but they need so much space. I'll be overwintering my grandfather's turtles in my basement because he doesn't have room for them in the house, they live in a pond he built. We have some turtles at the aquarium and it's fun to feed them. One of them is trained to take food sticks from your hand, it's cute. Whenever he sees people he expects a hand out.

TURTLES I used to have a blue turtle named Cheese he was cute (yes I ahd a blue turtle named Cheese). heart I miss him.

I always wanted to have a turtle but my parent would never let me.. They don't like them OAO
