A small town in Putnam County, NY, which is directly north of Westchester, NY. It is home to a number of lakes, making the surrounding area rather marshy; much of the land has been purchased for conservation as a result. the homes there are stately and old, as the town was founded in 1778 and few homes have recently been built there.
A small shopping area is located in the center of town, taking up several small blocks. Other than that, the town is either groups of homes or marshland.
