A great walled city where thieves are making an uprising. Because of this, the security of the entire town has been increased. The citizens have been thrown into turmoil, and many are cautious in both light and day. The marketplace should be an interesting place to get infromation, as many of the people there are ex-adventurers selling the goods they've gotten over years of adventuring. Many beautiful things line the place, and because of this this is also a place of heightened security, with entire platoons occasionally walking down the streets. The leader of these uprising should be an interesting person to meet, and even moreso the person behind the entire city.

Two short, perfectly balanced throwing dagger were thrown at the pair aimed for the back of the neck.

*greed's left arm turns black as he quickly turns around and smacks the daggers with his left arm returning them back to its sender. his arm turned back to its normal color.*
"well who ever was tailing us is gonna be killed their own attack, how ironic."

The blades, having touched Greed, transferred their poisions into him and he was knocked uncosciously immidiatly. The blades that were sent back at their owner were caught promptly; one should never underestimate how well an assassin knows his blades. At that point, 8 more figures dressed the same way appeared around the pair, each throwing two more daggers at the remaining figure.

*greed falls to the ground but quickly gets back up.*
"yuo honestly think atlittle poison is gonna keep me down, then your gavely mistaken, shini give me your cursed balde.*
"how about i just do this"
*shini claps her hands and touches the ground, instantly a barrier of lava appears around them, incinorating all the knives tossed at them. the barrier drops sonn afterwards.*

The blades all shine black, and instantly each figure shields their eyes. As the blades are destroyed, the second they are completely incenerated the light of the sun bursts out directly around them. Having shielded their eyes, the attackers took no damage but Shini and Greed would be blinded, most likely permanately. One of the figures dashed forward with an incomprehensible speed and slashed across with a katar, aiming to knock the two out in one swift blow.

"ack! my eyes! *the curse begins to heal her eyes, painfully.* god this hurts! make it stop! *her eyes recover* damn you titanus. damn you to the pits of hell."
*she claps her hands and touches the ground making herself a pair of sunglasses, she grabs her blade and waits for their next strike.*
*meanwhile greed who was wearing sunglasses, clears sees the guy charging at them, and charges at him so fast that he'll have no time to react, and meanwhile turns his arm into a substance harder than diamonds and thrusts his fist into the katar shattering it and shattering the fist it was attached to..*

((You'd still be blinded being he'd be running at you WHILE you were still blinded...xP Speed is key here. He's going at double his normal speed, and being an assassin he's already faster then lightning o_o Litterally...lol. YOU wouldnt have time to react now.))
