I'm definitely seeing this! I might even pay to see it opening night (I work at a theater so normally movies are free). And I'm probably going to drive my boyfriend nuts because I'm totally snagging the sexy Watson poster we have in the theater's back hallway. Maybe he'll forgive me if I get him the Holmes poster.

I actually didn't recognize Jude Law at first. I must say, he looks dashing with the beardo and wearing proper late 1900s attire, eh?

Just thought I'd revive this thread a bit since the movie is coming out in a little over a week. How many are excited about this? Robert Downey Jr. Freakin' awesome. Some of the newer trailers look hilarious. I wasn't expecting it to be funny, but why not?

Yeah! I can't wait for it. They have the Sherlock Holmes game thing on Facebook too that I'm now oddly amused by. I really do hope that it is as great as I am hoping it is. Certainly not the typical Sherlock Holmes, but this could be a nice take. I'm glad that Watson is actually standing up for himself more.

After the last few Ritchie movies, I expect it to be ok at most. I still plan on seeing it though. smile

Heck yes I am!! I don't expect it to be amazing but come on the style is so me! That and I am in love with Watson..not the actor but the actual character.
