  Recipe: Omamori
Ingredients:

How it is Made and Used:
The amulet covering is usually made of cloth and encloses papers or pieces of wood with prayers written on them which are supposed to bring good luck to the bearer on particular occasions, tasks or ordeals. Omamori are also used to ward off bad luck and are often spotted on bags, hung on cellphone straps, in cars, etc. for safety in travel. Many omamori are specific in design to the location they were made.
They often describe on one side the specific area of luck or protection they are intended for and have the name of the shrine or temple they were bought at on the other. Generic omamori exist, but most of them cover a single area: health, love, or studies, to name only a few. It is said that omamori should never be opened or they lose their protective capacities. Amulets do not expire, however they are commonly replaced once a year. Old amulets are usually returned to the shrine or temple so they can be disposed of properly.

Biography: He was born and raised in a fairly large family. He was used to not receiving much attention from anyone and there for was able to do anything he wanted. He had actually enjoyed that type of lifestyle till he ended up living by himself with a fairly low paying job. He now is not used to having people actually watching him at work and sometimes it drives himself nuts on how crazy people are at work.
Personality: He is a pretty much laid back kind of guy. He doesn’t really have a drive to do much in life except to live it and that will be all for him. He likes to explore new places and do different things once in a while. He normally sticks with anything that is abnormal for the most part. He isn’t that extreme in buying things that are abnormal, but he likes to collect some things that he finds amusing. Even though he is interested in aliens and the like he isn’t as obsessed as other people can be. He is very weak when it comes to talking to the opposite sex. As much as he loves them he just can seem to get himself to talk to one of them. It is a same for him, because he has yet to find himself a girlfriend or anything. The only person close to him would be his sisters and his mom. He tends to blame them for his predicament of not being able to handle other women.

# S T A G E . O N E - f o o d - Your GoGo will start out their life as an inanimate food product (i.e dessert, lunch or beverage). They are animated by our special Gogo rice which makes them very vulnerable. When you take your GoGo home be sure to leave them out to ferment. Don't worry it's all part of their development. Requirements: 35gg points (approx. 1 week)
# S T A G E . T W O - f e r m e n t / f o o d - b l o b - It grew... but into what? We don't know, but it sure is cute. The ferment is still about the size of sushi, only a few inches tall, and is still very eatable, so it still needs your protection. It is starting to show some features and personality... but it's still got a lot of growing up to do. With the mindset of a toddler or child they want to learn a lot about the world around them. Be mindful of common dangers around the house. Requirements: 140gg points (approx. 3 weeks)
# S T A G E . T H R E E - g o g o . t e e n - Finally! They look a bit more human... though they're still no bigger than a set of chopsticks. Don't worry, at this point they can't be eaten, and they can become a little more independent. With the mindset of a teenager they are a little more rambunctious and anxious to get around. They'll still ask a lot of questions and remain quite curious of their surroundings but they have a presence of mind to act more adult-like. While they may be small they will want to do a lot of big things on their own, be mindful of what they do but try to let them learn through trial and error. House pets may be a possible threat if your GoGo doesn't get along with them but otherwise they make a wonderful means of transportation. Requirements: 280gg points (approx. 1 month)
# S T A G E. F O U R - g o g o . a d u l t - After doing a whole lot of growing, your GoGo can now become an adult. But just what does an adult entail? That is up to your GoGo and you. Will they become a full fledged human? Will they turn into some beautiful creature? Will they just be a lot more grown up? The choices are endless, and only you can decide. Don't forget that now being an adult means producing offspring. If your GoGo is interested in creating a family then you may want to look into seiiku options. (see seiiku for more info)
