Description: A slighly lanky kid, standing roughly 5'6", with arms coming
down to mid-thigh. He has a short, half inch haircut, completely jet black and standing straight upwards. He has deep brown eyes, which look more thoughtful than anything, and a relatively careless nature. Slightly tanned skin from being outside so much, and a low, soft voice. He wears a pair of khaki cargo shorts, a white collared shirt, and a blue vest, hanging open. His pack is fairly large, a camo green color, with a rolled up tent strapped to the top of it. He wears a white cap with a pokeball logo on the front.

Personality: A very carefree kid, Kitsu loves the outdoors, and anything to do with camping or hiking will get him excited. He's always wanted a pokemon of his own, especially a Pidgey, because of their final form, Pidgeot. He's very friendly and open, and won't hesitate to voice an opinion in most cases. He's always prepared for anything. He's also an excellent cook, which is good for the long camping trips he likes to take. He wants to start as a pokemon trainer, but he aspires to be a breeder once he's seen more pokemon in the world.

History: A young boy who was born and raised in Pallet Town, he's watched countless numbers of trainers get pokemon from Professor Oak, then leave town on their journeys. Finally now, his parents are allowing him to leave on his journey! Even though he does not have a pokemon from Oak's lab, he is still very happy, because he sees it as more practice being a trainer, and more time spent outside.

Relationships/Friends

Darcy Bird
I ran into her in Viridian forest while she was battling a wild pikachu...She was very nice, and gave me an antidote to heal Rhun, but didn't hang around longer than to get my name. She has two pokemon now, a pidgey named Thar, and a pikachu named Aura. They are both well coordinated battlers...I hope one day Rhun is that good. We met later in the forest, and Thar and Tanael had a battle. However, the results were inconclusive, as it started to snow and we could not finish.

Leyna Kaine
Bumped into this trainer while walking down the path...Her pokemon is a spearow named Kande, who looks after her, or so it seems. She knows Darcy too. I haven't seen her battle skills, and I don't know much else about her...

Strider Wolfknight
Just met her. Don't know much about her at this point, except that she's a new trainer...Her sentret seems to like diving into pots of boiling ramen, as he demonstrated...(See 2/9:The Parade of the Ravenous!) Her sentret is named Madradox.

Kailey Koreco
A new trainer, she also has a oddly colored vulpix named Nozomu. It's pitch black, and has some sort of silver markings on it...She also has a togepi, and its shell has a very interesting lightning bolt pattern. She has a spearow too, named Dyeus, but I don't know about him. Nozomu is a very hungry vulpix, he's a theif too...But he's cute! I can't hate him. She has odd psychic powers, but they're more cool than anything...She is also very edgy around large crowds of people.

Rhun
My pidgey, and first pokemon. We work well as a team, although he is a bit headstrong and will attack unbidden when angered.

Katar
My kakuna, and second pokemon. We've been together for a while, and he's a very calm mannered poke...Quick to follow instruction though.

Rikuu
A togepi, just hatched from his egg while in Viridian Forest. He's incredibly cute...but we don't know anything about him yet.

Tanael
Incredibly cheery and energetic vulpix, a present from my father in Saffron...He's very special, a beautiful green vulpix with a special ball, green on top instead of the usual red. We're already very good friends.

Rapida
A wily ponyta who has a slightly troublesome attitude, and alot of sass. She is a good addition to the team however, taking her load (literally) without objection. I caught her in Viridian Forest, while she rampaged around destroying my camp and supplies.

The quest, day 1.

I'm camped out in a little patch of trees on route 1, waiting out an imminent storm...Still haven't found a pidgey...When will I get a chance to catch one??

Rips out a bit of hair

Oops...Hopefully a pidgey will visit soon...Maybe they'll smell the food I'm cooking in my tent...

I found something!
While I was in a tree trying to spot pokemon to draw, I found a little bag! So I take it down to my base camp and open it up, and what's in it? 5 Pokeballs, a waterstone, and A POKEMON EGG! The egg is absolutely beautiful! It's blue and green, and the little designs on it look like leaves! Maybe it'll be a bulbasaur...

I got it!
While I was guarding my egg at camp, a very inquisitive pidgey walked up and started trying to eat my curry! I tried to catch it, but it dodged the ball and attacked me, knocking me to the ground. Then, while it was trying to peck me, I managed to nab it with a ball! I decided to call my pidgey Rhun. Rhun likes my curry quite a bit, judging by the speed he ate it...

The quest, day 3

It rained yesterday, so I spent alot of time in my tent with Rhun and Katar...I rolled out my sleeping bag to take a nap, and when I turn back, both pokemon are resting on it. They're worse than kittens! Oh well...managed to plot likely pokemon catching spots on my maps...We shall see what happens.

Dense Forest
Found a foreboding patch of dense forest...Searching for pikachu and caterpie. Found out that this dense forest was incredibly treacherous, as I got tangled up in the foliage and started to sink into the loam...After much work, we made it out.

Brushes with Trouble
While walking along the path, a trainer named Leyna bumped into me. We exchanged info. Turns out she knows Darcy. I made a sketch of her spearow, Kande. I hope to see her again sometime, so I can judge how much they change over time...

Egg-timer
While walking along the path in Viridian, the pokemon egg that I found on Route 1 started hatching! We got it out just in time to see the Togepi inside push through the shell! It's soooo cute! I decided to call him Rikuu...I have no idea what he can do yet, but time will tell all...

The quest, day 5

Pewter City!
Today's my fourth day walking through the forest, and I can finally see the other side. We're going to Pewter City!

Tanael
Upon arriving in the Pewter pokemon center, the nurse asked me if I knew a kid called Kitsu Darren...of course I told her I was him, and she said she had something for me. Curious as to what it was, I waited, and she returned with a sage green pokeball and a note. The note read:
"Dear Kitsu...I know you're working hard on your pokemon quest, and your dad decided to get this for you since he can't see you often...It's a pokemon he ordered for you and sent, and now I'm handing it to you. I hope you like it!"
Immediately, I released the pokemon. It was a cute little vulpix, but i noticed almost instantly that this one was different...This one was green! I decided to name him Taneon.

A day excursion?
Once my pokemon were healed at the center in Pewter, we started the long treck to train in Viridian Forest again...Taneon has incredible amounts of energy, and he made it up that steep steep hill at an alarming rate. We're gonna stay till some of my pokemon evolve...

The quest, day 7

Aerial Ace
While searching Viridian Forest, Rhun and I came upon a small yet ferocious pidgey...The two birds got into a fierce battle in the skies, raking with talons and ripping with beaks, but Rhun came out victorious. I think this battle will make Rhun stronger...It was a very difficult one.

Pride of a Lion?
After defeating the small wild pidgey, I discovered that Rhun has the pride of a lion...All the way we walked, he sat there cooing a victory song out for everyone and everypoke to hear...I think this could get in the way of his judgement in very difficult battles...Only time will tell.
