I have always had a fondness for b-grade sci-fi movies and the best of the lot have to be the Godzilla movies.
Although Godzilla Final Wars puts on a good show that might arguably rise above the lable of B movie.
In point of fact all the movies made from Godzilla 2000 and newer are well done. Still the most unintentionally funny line in any sci-fi movie I've ever seen comes from Godzilla vs. space Godzilla which is just before Final Wars in the saga I believe, and firmly places that one in the B-movie category.

I really enjoy b movies. Something about them just seems so iconic in their own way. Such a the brain that wouldn't die and even the original Dracula/Nosferatu had kind of a b-ish quality. Of course anything by Ed Wood is automatically B as well, but often so bad that they are funny.
I've always loved Godzilla and I liked what they did with the Newer Godzilla (was that 2000? really?) It did kinda make me sad to see all the lousy humans picking on my poor, little (sentimentally speaking) Godzilla. Stupid Humans. I SHALL DESTROY THEM ALL! Oh, I mean Hi! Er herm....
anyway, I share your love of Godzilla and while he may fall into a B movie category for most of his legacy, that's not necessarily a bad thing.
