It has come to my attetnion that our sweet little guildd is dying.
I would love to have an active guild. If you have ANY IDEAS what so ever on ways to keep it alive please post here.

Besides getting rid of the people that aren't active, I don't know. I tried a bumping contest in contest thread, but no one cares it seems.

I've been active, but its hard to be active when there is no one else about. And I wouldn't say this guild is dying. Sluggish maybe, but not dying. Dying would mean, that no one would replied to this thread for 16 days or more. Clearly it isn't dying, is it getting there though...sadly yes... cry

I have an idea on how to get more people (dont know if it'll work though but hey why not) instead of having people look up our guild on the guild search thing we could advertise it to friends, or if anyone is in another guild they could advertise our guild there in the forum or something

I don't want to lose anymore members. Please don't be rash. We can fix this. I was talking to a fellow member about another idea. Opening up a joint shop that can advertise our guild better.

I haven't been so active because I co-Run a guild with Skotti Gallows, so we've been busy as hell.
Ummmmm. . . I recommend, maybe, find someone who runs an art shop and then have them advertise this guild as one of its Affiliates. . Maybe bribe them somehow with funds or a few items- Like,
"If we give you (such and such) then your Drow/Dark Elven customers are ours." or something.
Umm. . . Maybe create banners for Signatures? The more members that have your banner in their siggy, more Elves will join.

The greatest thing you'll ever learn... I really don't see what you mean. I haven't noticed any decline in activity in the guild. Every day when I come in there's at least 2-3 new posts in the RP section alone (granted I don't spend much time outside the RP section anymore, but still). It's always been rather slow in here... but I believe that;s because of the users we let in. I'm not trying to sound offensive, but it seems that every dark elf that requests access to the guild gets it... and then 8/10 times they don't ever post. Our population inflates, but only a small amount actually contribute to the guild.
I think the guild is fine how it is. I don't really think there's much else you can do to the guild aside from adding more sub-forums and, personally, I don't like how many we have right now. There's SO many different forums that it not only takes a long time to check them all, but it's rather exasperating looking at the forever long list trying to figure out where to post a topic, or just spend your time. I think simplifying things might help to make a more welcoming feel to our guilds forums (b ut that's just my opinion)...is to love, and be loved in return

Well I hope the gulde dont die---I think the post are down because it is still summer and a lot of people are out doing stuff and just not posting much right now, I know thats why I havent been posting much lately. I think the posting will go up once school starts (we supose to be doing home work but really we get on Gaia) Also it seems to me that the R/P has actually went up ( 140 post in one ) So anyway thats what I think, like what I think really matters

Ever since my guild took off, I have been...
... Less than active, but I have been looking to become more active with the guild, specifically the rp section.
I feel that I missed my chance to hop back in after "a day in the life" rp took off (even tho I kinda started it along with tobias) but I plan on becoming more active, just need my jumping in point.
