I never even thought about this. So I looked it up. Check This Link they advise against it.
But I also found this: "Tattoos & Piercing
The risks associated with tattoos and piercing are the same, pregnant or not. You can get an infection, especially if you don't keep clean. Ulsterite equipment can cause you to contract a virus like Hepatitis, but this isn't a concern if you go to a reputable studio. Keep your wound clean, and you're unlikely to become infected. It is really rare for the infection to affect your baby. Many parlors won't tattoo or pierce pregnant women for liability reasons, but there really is no reason to be paranoid about tattoos and piercing during pregnancy. Pregnancy can cause your belly to stretch, requiring you to remove your piercing or get a more flexible ring. That's it though!"
So ASK your doctor and use common sense.

from a tattooers pov, MOST will not tattoo or pierce a pregnant woman. Personally, the point is that the blood pressure does tend to raise when getting tattooed, which could have adverse reaction to the fetus, also, when the body it trying to heal a tattoo or piercing, it will prioritize, and the fetus comes first which mean your healing will be slower and not as optimal as when your not growing life. So not because its totally dangerous, but because its better to be safe then sorry most simply wont do it. Its better to fixate on growing a huge healthy baby, then worrying about what you want right now lol!

Thank you vayn glorious, I was hoping one of the pros would answer this for her. I really had no other option than to look it up at the moment, and then it seemed really conflicting. I tend to agree with your advice.

Its great your planning yours, mine just happened lol! Now I'm working on making them "whole"
