It's a shonen series, which is directed primarily for boys. Though, it seems most of the fanbase is female, which means a good portion of the fanbase doesn't want a major, fighting female character, they want pretty boys they can slash together. Hey, I'm all for slash pairings, I really am, but the het pairings need some love too. wink Especially since out of all the girls to dislike, the fans don't like Chrome, which makes no sense to me. Kyoko is way more annoying to me than Chrome. Chrome hasn't been around enough to really be annoying.
