I've been contimplating about getting snakebites... has anyone, especially any women, gotten these done? Any advice? How badly do they hurt to get done? Did anyone have any problems with work upon getting these? How can you hide them if need be? For the guys on here, do you find women with snakebites attractive? Any advice or words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated!
OH AND POST PICS OF YOUR SNAKEBITES HERE! I WANT TO SEE!

Snakebites, just like any piercing, have to compliment your aesthetics to look really good. I personally find only a few women have raised their beauty due to snakebites, but that's just me personally.
As with just about any piercing, your own body will determine if it hurts or not. Personally, my facial piercings haven't hurt at all; my ears hurt worse. This seems to be the common consensus of these.
Advice for the piercings: take some CBRs and wear them (without the balls) where you'd like the piercings to be. This will give you a feel for what the piercings will look and feel like on you, and give you an idea of what to watch out for. With some people, the rings rest far enough away from their teeth to not warrant too much concern. For others they clank, slide, and sometimes rest between the teeth (which, after time, can cause a gap to form in your teeth, especially if you develop a fixation of playing with them too much.)
When getting them pierced, you'll probably start with simple labret studs, as they tend to heal quicker and are easier to manage. You can get the rings put in right off the bat, but it is generally not recommended (I personally will only use studs for fresh oral piercings on my clients.) Make sure that your piercing artist knows that you plan on having the rings in when it heals, and a good artist will take this into consideration when planning the angle of the piercing.
If you have any other questions regarding the piercings (or any piercings at all) feel free to PM me.

i've known two girls and one guy to get snake bites.
all of which had hoops in right away. all of which took them out within a year of getting them. one due to an infection and the other two because it gave them terrible breath after the initial healing period but before the year was up so it wasn't completely healed.
i'm not sure if any of this would affect your decision but i figured i'd put it out there because it really bothered those two that they couldn't get rid of the rancid odor in their mouth, even with brushing and rinsing. the guy removed his piercings first and within a week the odor disappeared. the girl followed suit shortly after.
and no, none of these people were me. i think snakebites would look terrible with the facial piercings i already have. same with a septum piercing... which is really really what i want, lolz.

i have snakebites done lol But i usualy don't wear hoops in them, just because it looks a bit weird to me lol I've never had bad breath because of them and i've never had an infection. i had mine done seperately though, first the left side of my lip, waited a year, then the left side lol

I have snake bites smile I never had a problem with infection or bad breath...I got them done seperately also one one month and the other the next....but that was because I didnt have the money to get them at the same time. I wore hoops for the first year then I decided hoops were too bothersome and studs work so much better they dont crowd my face as much hiding them isnt that simple but Im sure there are some places out there who sell flesh colored studs..... as for pain my lip piercings didnt hurt at all just it kind of stung a little when they put the jewelry through but it depends on your pain tolerance
Its ME!! VVVV

Women + snakebites = win My girlfriend had one side of her lip pierced when we started dating and pierced the other later on. I've never kissed a girl without a lip ring XD So, yes. Women are attractive with snakebites. Given that it would work with their face. (Not just a guy question lol) I want to get snakebites too but am unsure about whether or not I can have them and get a job since Ive been looking for a job since mid summer x.x
