Xellos shifted his captive's weight as he walked calmly through the trees. Capturing the dragon girl had been easier than he'd expected. The poor creature hadn't even put up a fight. He'd kept her tied up the entire way in case she woke up during the walk, and was carrying her at his side like an awkward box.

Gourry had walked from Zefelia now here. "This is a wierd building."Gourry said walking in there were a bunch of stairs and elevators and voices at the top. "I think she might be in this place"Gourry said walking up the first stair case.

Xellos glanced back at the building barely visible behind him. It had been a good thing he'd decided to leave that morning. The intruders had nearly come across him and the still unconscious dragon girl when he'd fled. But it didn't seem like they'd noticed.
And it won't matter if they do... he thought to himself. the bomb i'd set up in that building should be going off any time now...

Yume woke up, her bright amethyst eyes opening slowly, she would've moved by now, but she noticed her hands and feet were tied up. She looked over to Xellos hesitantly, trying her best to get out of his grip.
"Let me go you creep!" She shouted, gritting her teeth.
Wow, this guy really was a monster. Xellos. She'd heard of him before ...

Amelia glanced around the building. For a second she thought she'd heard something. Then it came again: a faint ticking sound.
"Mr Gourry, do you hear that?" She asked curiously.

Zelgadis had decided yesterday that it'd be best if he stayed in an inn, because it had grown too dark for him to continue his searches; he was in a small town not too far from Seyruun 's capital. The inn was fairly nice, but not much to brag about. It supplied one with daily needs like a bed, candles, a closet, a tall dresser that reached the ceiling, a bathroom, soaps and anything else that one might use daily, but nothing significantly special. He wasn't really impressed, but he wasn't very upset with it either; it was average, it was like almost any other hotel or inn.
Though, without asking, he'd received breakfast which had been brought to his room: That, at the least, was kind of luxurious, he must say. A faint smile began to grow on his lips as he stared at the food, but something was odd; there was a letter on the tray as well. As he picked up the envelope and eyed the address, all that was shown was a stamp of Seyruun's emblem, ' Amelia ', he thought to himself immediately, his face began to grow rather serious. He ripped the top of the envelope off carelessly and pulled out the letter, tossing the envelope to the side of the table. He scanned through the letter quickly and then put the letter to the side as well, he began to think: Should he go join her and meet her at the castle, or should he just continue his search for the cure that he was so anxious to get? As he began to space out at the tray in thought, he suddenly turned his head to look at his arm. On his arm was the bracelet that Amelia had given him; after their third adventure had ended she had given it to him, though he was really unsure why she would give him something she wore all the time, the bracelet must have been so special to her but she just gave it away. That's when he made his decision. The moment that he finished eating, he stuffed the letter into his pocket and left to go to Seyruun 's castle.
But when he'd reached the castle, he was told that the princess was not present. Zelgadis sighed and left the castle immediately, 'Typical Amelia, ' she always came up with plans, but then always was gone, generally forcing justice on delinquent citizens. As he walked away from the castle, he picked up a trail of magical aura; someone had left their aura unmasked and it was really easy to track them. Hoping that it was Amelia, he followed it, only to reach an odd building. As he entered he heard footsteps echoing from higher up; there was a staircase. Somewhat cautiously, noting that the aura he'd followed could be an enemy or a monster instead of Amelia, he kept his guard up as he continued up the stairs.
But just as he'd thought, " I never expected to find you at a place like this, " he said somewhat humorously, " You didn't hide your aura, so it was really easy to find you; you're lucky I'm not a mazoku, " he added lecturing - like, he could be a demon, and Amelia would be in a bit of trouble if he were a Mazoku. His expression showed irritation, but at the same time he was happy to see her again. He also noticed Gourry, and added with a grin, " I'm guessing you received a letter too? " But the introductions and hellos didn't last long; he heard ticking, and the ticking sound continued in a steady rythme. It was unnerving, " Where is that sound coming from? " he questioned, an unnerved and serious expression on his face.
(( Sorry for the long post guys... But I had to find you all first, and so it ended up being really, really long. Lol. ))

Amelia searched around for a moment before running in the direction of the noise. She paused at a small dark room on one side. "It's coming from in he-"
Xellos smirked a little as the building was suddenly engulfed in flames as the bomb exploded. The sheer power was like that of a condensed 'Dragon Slave'. There was no way the intruders could've survived.
"Such a shame..." he said with a shrug. "It seems that Seyruun is now short one tiny princess..."
((They're not really dead. Xellos just thinks they are. I wanted to clarify that.))

The sorcerer analyzed the walls and the surrounding area for what was making the ticking sound. But with every second the ticking sound was getting louder, and the ticking was gradually getting slower and deeper as if something were about to...Explode... The moment he realized what it was, Amelia had exclaimed that she found where the sound was coming from; Zelgadis rushed to her side with a dead serious and urgent expression, " Amelia! Put up a shield now! " Just as he commanded her to do so, he put up a shield himself; if amelia and Zelgadis both put up shields, then it'd be less likely that anyone would get hurt, but if only he cast the shield spell, well, he was unsure what would happen. The moment he had finished casting the spell he saw clouds of red, brown and an ugly gray coming toward he, Amelia and Gourry. He concentrated on his shield spell and hoped that it wouldn't shatter.

Yume's amethyst eyes filled with tears, she quickly casted a small fire spell to let the material wrapped around her arms burn off, the same for her legs, but sadly, the fire nipped at her skin somewhat as well, leaving burnt skin. The cold breeze blowing against it only made the pain worse for her.
She swat Xellos over the head many times, "How about you take me back to the Seyruun castle, do you think you can do that? You stupid monster! You think you can just kill my friends and get away with it ... ?! G-Grr ... " She was angry, but afraid at the same time, so that caused her to tremble.
She really hoped her only friends weren't truely dead. She'd have this monsters head. She would get revenge.
She bit down on her lower lip, avoiding anymore tears as she wiped them away.
Amelia ... I hope you're alright ... Gourry too ... She thought, bowing her head. Of course, she didn't know Zelgadis was with them as well.

"My my, you're a stubborn little dragon..." Xellos said, shaking his head. "But I'm afraid that's something I can't tolerate..." Then he suddenly aimed a blast of magic at her. "Don't bother getting your hopes up about your little friends. Not even a monster like myself could've survived that blast. Such a shame...to think she was only out here looking for you..." Xellos taunted with a malicious grin.
Amelia slowly popped up from among the pieces of rubble. Her head was sore, and she was covered in scrapes, but other than that, she was fine. She looked around for Zelgadis. He'd survived...right??
"Mr Zelgadis!!" she shouted. "Are you alright?!"
