(( This is an rp between myself and Caroline_Cupcake but others are more than welcome to join in. It's situated somewhere in the city-ish, in particular at the sushi bar that Caroline 'owns'. ))
It was a cool but clear day when Kay had decided to take her Aduthule girls out to the park near their appartment. She'd wrapped them up warm in their little coats and gumboots and added a scarf and beanie to Nuria since the little firey toddler disliked the cold more than usual.
The little baby that had emerged from her marble came along too of course, she was hardly going to leave him at home! Little 'Watt', as she had decided to name him, was tucked gently and carefully in one of her camera bags which hung securely over her head and shoulder. It was just the right size for the 11cm-or-so being and Kay had also picked it because it had a rubber lining inside to keep the camera (which would normally be in it) water-proof. This also meant it mas electricity-proof. wink
Plus Watt was part of the reason she was out and about. While the twins played Kay kept an eye out for the guy with the foggy orb. It was a long shot and so far it hadn't paid off, she couldn't spot him anywhere and had no idea if he would even pass this way again. Nearing lunch-time she decided it was time for a break and so she took hold of the girls hands and together the three walked down the street looking for a place to grab some lunch, Watt still fast asleep in his carry-bag.
Spying the sushi bar raised Kay's spirits though. She loved the Japanese rice rolls! And the girls might like one of the plainer types, perhaps some sort of rice pudding if they did one? Heh heh, while she liked sushi she didn't know much about it. sweatdrop Stepping inside she looked around for a place to sit.
(( Could you describe the place for me please Caroline? sweatdrop It helps me with my rp. And is it the Go-go Sushi bar? 4laugh ))

((yup, go go :3)) People come and go at Go Go, the chilly weather making them want a nice hot tea or soup. The place was fairly busy with the business type and the regulars. Tiny paper lanterns lined the windows as well as flickering lights to get into the almost winter spirit. Sadie tended to being hostess, taking people's coats and directing them to their seats. She doodled in the reservation book, which in fact was hardly ever used. How Sadie hated being Hostess, it was so bloody cold standing behind a table (or whatever it was called) in the lobby. Caroline was daintily fluttered around with a bright smile, greeting her customers at the sushi bar, large tables and small tables. Each table was decorated with tiny fish charms that glimmered like a fish in the water.
Farrah rested in Caroline's apron pocket, she by no circumstances was gonna hang around in the kitchen with the smell of fresh fish lingering in the air. The gentle rocking of Caroline walking made her want to sleep. It was quite snug in this pocket, full of edamame shell, which Farrah emptied with a struggle. They sat in her tummy all warm and snug just like her, besides her cloud made this pocket seem like heaven. However, she wanted to show the world show existed, greet them just like Caroline was doing...they wouldn't take a 8.5 inch girl seriously. Even Caroline's sushi daughter Ici was bigger then her!
"You ok Farrah? Need anymore munchies?" Caroline whispered from the side of her mouth, a smile pasted upon her face as she resided towards the kitchen. "Would you like any tea...I'm going to go grab some for myself." She continued with a soft tone and poured a glass for herself.
"I'm good..." Farrah didn't feel like talking, this was just boring now. Her face scrunched up as the smell of cooking food and fish reached her. "...Fish, damn does that stuff smell. I remember once I smelled a smell like this, I think you were gardening or something an—But yea, just a nasty smell." She nodded, nestling her nose into the marshmallow cloud.
"Oh, puhleeze Farrah, you're gonna have to get used to this if you want to continue coming. You know I have my apartment and the manor, so you have a choice though." Caroline nodded; she enjoyed Farrah's company though. She didn't want Mia going on busy days, get mixed up with things. (yea, that sucked...:brain dead: this might help too, considering I wasn't exactly descriptive. http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=618612 ))

(( Ah thank you! Oh the floorplan is sooo cute!! 4laugh I'd love to visit a sushi bar like that. Oh and Caroline has fairy wings? Just been reading Ici's journal too. whee Kay's just a normal human. Looks just like this avatar, minus the bunny ears. ))
Kay paused inside the busy restraunt. It was obviously the lunch break for many people and the moving bar with the little plates of sushi was pretty much full of business people, busy eating, reading the paper or chatting with their colleges. A few turned and spotted Kay's Adu girls, not hard even though they were a foot high. Their long tails and little wings were bound to draw some attention. Scooping them up, one resting in the crook of each arm, Kay turned to the girl at the service podium and looked at her name badge.
"Sadie is it? Can I get a table for three? ...Outside I think would be best." She added as an afterthought since Nuria was watching the little rows of pretty treats going along the bar, her expression one of great curiosity and no doubt a longing to go and play with them. "Oh and do you do some sort of rice pudding? Something plain-ish anyway. These two haven't tried sushi before."
Casting one more look around, she spotted what seemed to be another staff member talking to various customers. But Kay didn't pay too much attention as she was eager to get a seat and tuck into some lunch. Had she known what sat in the other woman's apron no doubt the thought of food would have taken second preference!
In her own carry bag, her little Seraphii began to fidget in his sleep...

(( Sorry for the lag. sad My kittens escaped outside. They're not allowed out at night. And then my brother found a lost dog on his way home from work. It's now in our back yard. sweatdrop
Ah cool! Kay's not too knowing on the 'unusual species' and is definatly a sceptic unless she sees it with her own eyes. wink ))
Kay kept quiet as Sadie snapped out of her doodling and daydreaming, and watched her call the other women over. Neither seemed phased by her two adopted children but that could well be explained by the wings they also had. neutral An odd restraunt for sure... although very popular! She wondered what they were but decided it might not get her such friendly service if she asked them bluntly. Well, if she decided to make this a regular place to eat she might find out.
"Huh? Oh yeah, we've been outside all morning and these two are ok with the weather, aren't you guys? Wrapped up warm." Nuria gave a little nod of comfirmation and giggled at the two friendly staff while Danica stretch out her little arms to reach for a menu. She wanted to see the pictures and stuff on it too!
Kay's face however, turned dumbstruck as the little Seraphii popped her head out of the older woman's, Caroline's, apron. Her jaw dropped open and she followed in a sort of spell until Caroline offered them tea. "Huh? Oh! Oh yeah, that'd be great. Umm... and then.. could I ask you something?" She muttered as she sat the girls down at the nearest outdoor table and then glanced at the apron where the green-winged creature was now hidden again.
As she sat down herself, Watt woke up and gave a little cry of displeasure. The movement of Kay walking had served as a nice lulling rocking motion to help him sleep. Now she had stopped it'd woken him up!

"Ah, ok. Prepared I see. " Caroline grinned, holding the menu's against her stomach as she leaned on the outside wall. "I'm sorry the fountain doesn't work; tis too cold. Hopefully one day you will be able to see this fountain in action, we have gotten many praises for it." She nodded modestly; the kids ALWAYS loved the fountain. "But feel free to throw pennies!" Her eyes smiled along with her as she breathed in deeply. "And you know what guys," Caroline looked towards Dancia and Nuria. "Some say when you make a wish on a penny and throw it in, the Komiko Fairy of Go Go Sushi will grant it...But only if you believe." She flashed a smirk as she backed away from the wall, ending her tangent. Caroline set down the menu's upon the table. "Tea coming up, then your question?"
Farrah felt like a parasite, she poked her head out as her hostess began to walk back inside. "I never saw kids like that, what a strange bunch." She spoke with out thinking and nuzzled back inside.
"We're all strange Farrah, I'm probably a rather strange site to the customers... and you too!" Caroline shook her head, entering the tea kitchen. She took a pot that was a creamy pale sky blue with a Japanese dragon of a light pink color flying about through the clouds upon it. It was 6 potter and had cups to match. "Hmm..." The woman rustled through the tins of tea and pulled out one of her favorites. "Pearl Jasmine."
Farrah inhaled the scent of the flower tea as Caroline opened the pot. "That smells so fresh, so delicate and beautiful." She closed her eyes and lifted her head with an expression of calmness. Could this be better than cookie dough?
Caroline bounded back outside; she gently transferred the pot and cups off the tray and onto the table. "Pearl Jasmine ..." She nodded and forwardly settled down on an empty seat. "So, what is your question?" The woman began pouring tea and placing it in front of them.
Farrah didn't stir notta a peep. What was this question, did the woman see her? Was she going to say Farrah was a disgrace, such a small girl...so many question flowed through her mind.

Danica raised an eyebrow at Caroline's talk of fairies and wishes and looked sceptically at the cold still fountain. Nuria on the other hand blinked in wonder and glanced at the kindly woman to her magical fountain. That... that was soooo coool!! Imediatly she wriggled out of her seat and went to look in the fountain, hoping to see this Komiko fairy and perhaps getting a penny from Kay later.
Kay watched the Firey thule from her seat and give the hostess a smirk. She obviously knew how to entertain kids. "Yes, if that's ok." She told her before waiting for Caroline to return with the tea. When she did Kay accepted a cup gratefully, enjoying the warmth of the cup in her hands before inhaling a deep breath of its enchanting scent. Mmm... Pearl Jasmine, she would have to remember that. Ah but the question!
"Oh, yeah. Well I couldn't help but notice your little friend there..." She motioned to the woman's apron which had become still again. Aalthough now she knew what was in it she could see the small lump in its folds. "And she reminded me alot of someone I've recently, ah.. met. Or found rather." As way of explaination she set the carry bag in her lap before opening it and carefully scooping her hands inside. She glanced around in case anyone was watching before slowly opening her cupped hands to reveal a tiny baby with blonde hair and golden wings laying in a small cloud in her palms.
Watt stirred within the folds of his cloud that kept him warm and made feeble grabing motions with his hands. Why had they stopped moving? Why was he taken out where the wind blew on his face? What were these now unmuffled noises? Mmm... and something smelt pleasing? He wriggled blindly, wanting to voice these thoughts, but just like any baby all it came out as was a tiny wail.
"Oh! Shhh...shhhh...." Kay tried to quieten him as best she could while keeping the cloud and its little occupant trapped within her fingers. She didn't want to lose him out in the street and in this sort of weather! "Look..." She glanced back at the woman sitting opposite her. "Is there anything you could tell me? I heard there was one more rock and now you and..." She nodded since she didn't know the little passenger's name.

Caroline's eyes grew wide, and she gulped. "My little friend?" She didn't want any harm to come to Farrah, what if they sent her too...oh, it was only a harmless question. Her heart slowed down and she closed her eyes for a moment.
Farrah stirred in Caroline's pocket, her voice needed to be heard. "I'm Farrah." She poked her head out with a smile, her nose turning a slight shade of pink as the cold air settled upon it. "Who's that?" Her heart dropped, he had a cloud like her, but he was only a baby. "Is he like me?" Farrah gazed up at Caroline; she was dying for an answer.
"Yes Farrah, I believe soo..." Caroline smirked a bit. "They are called Seraphii. Don't you remember Farrah? You saw others when you were just a baby" She nodded, a lump forming in her throat knowing Farrah might get upset.
Farrah struggled out of the pocket with her cloud and swooped over the baby. "He's real?" Wow, others like her, Farrah simply didn't remember her meeting with the nitemare seraphii. "I-i-I Wish I knew, can we visit the place where the others are?" She glanced towards Caroline with a weak smile.
"Of course hun." Caroline nodded and grinned, few she wasn't crying.

For a moment Kay though she might have startled the other woman. She looked quite shocked she'd asked. But surely Kay wasn't seeing things? No no, there was the minature girl.
"Oh, hi Farrah is it? Kay. This is Watt. Well, that's what I've called him. And I was rather hoping you could answer that question."
Watt listened to all the voices around him. He was beginning to recognise Kay's and there was another one close by too. Not to mention the every-day city noise of the people at their tables nearby and the sound of cars and other machinery. Actually, the buzz and hum of that was quite interesting and he rolled onto his stomach within the cloud he lay on and reached with his hand in a random direction.
Although it wasn't so random. He was actually facing towards the fountain that Caroline had switched off. For a second he seemed to go quiet... and then there was a little splash as the fountain was turned on briefly, before stopping once more with another cry from Watt.
He stopped his little wail though when he heard Farrah's voice, and instead, hiccuped.
Kay's head snapped to look at the fountain and then at Watt in her hands. "Uhh, sorry about that. He's been doing it a bit at home. Mostly with the lights." She tried to explain. The strange occurances were still very odd to her too. But she concentrated on Caroline when she spoke of the little beings.
"Did you say Seraphii? What's that? And there's more than just these ones?" Her eyes grew wide in amasement. "Hey, don't suppose I could visit it too? At least can I grab the address off you. The guy with the other rock, he said someone called Lena knew the most about them."

"Yes, I don't think I have a last name though...or a middle name either." Farrah spoke with an uncertain smile and glimmer in her eyes. "Watt, that's like a light bulb isn't it?" She tilted her head and cooed at the baby. "He's so tiny, and I thought I was small...aw and look at his cloud!"
Caroline's ears perked up as the sound of a bit of splashing could be heard. "Wha?" she turned around, her eyes wide. "But I turned that off...Oh, Watt. I get it! Watt." Her eyes danced, watt...electricity. Hahah. "Yea, I haven't met any others. I've only heard there were others from Farrah's previous owner." Caroline nodded, her mind was elsewhere; how could such a being turn on that fountain? Did Farrah have these powers? "Oh, of course. Uh, I don't exactly know the address." She gulped and glanced down to the ground. "We'll go together..."
"Really!" Farrah smirked. "Will we see others ya think?" She got close to Caroline's face and blinked. "Please say we will!"
"Most likely..." Caroline responded, she didn't want to get Farrah's hopes up too much. "I don't know that much either; I guess there's so much to learn."

"No last name? Well... you could share Caroline's if you wanted I guess." Kay suggested, looking at the little female teen that was barely bigger than her hand. She had studied Watt of course, a tiny person was something that tended to intrigue most people and she was no exception. But Farrah here was far more active and even spoke!
"Hmm? Oh yeah, like the light bulb. That's kinda how I first figured he had something to do with electricity, he started playing with the light bulbs. Oh? But weren't you small at some point too? Or were you always that size?" She pondered, maybe they didn't all start as babies? Maybe they just stayed at the certain age that they appeared at?
"Yeah, going together sounds good. I can give you my mobile number and we can find a time?" She turned back to Caroline. So she had received Farrah from someone else? Well at least she had had some warning as to what she was getting herself into. "I image we'll meet some others. I dunno though, there does seem to be just a handfull around. Of course, I've only met them by chance. But if they all have some idea about this Lena and are going to see her I'm sure we will bump into some more. Or Lena can tell us if there are any others."
Eye's still shut in his infant stage, Watt waved his hand towards the voice of Farrah, trying to reach and touch the other like himself. There was something in the voice, it's presence, that made him realise it was another Seraphii. And with so many big people around, so many non-seraphii, it was exciting to hear the voice of another like himself!
