A large room with seats for over 30 people in a circle around a central stage. This is were the Towns ninja would be debriefed after they returned from their mission to the enemy pmc base

flagenza approached the great building they had all recently left to go on their important mission. it was good to be back in the village he considered home. he'd visit his house if he got the chance.
he climbed the stair case and walked into the debreifing room they had left from. there were only a few ninja wondering around looking to receive missions he assumed.
flagenza chose to simply yell out assuming midori had the place wired or was simply hiding. "Kage? its flagenza we're back. and we have some guest i beleive. you might want to meet them. i'm sure they want to meet you."

Death followed right behind Flagenza the whole way back. He was so glad to be back home, the Taka Forest was not his friend. At least Death could climb stairs without any trouble. "I'm back!!!!" yelled Death as he entered the building.

Daniel reappeared from thin using his teleportation jutsu, his face covered in bandages although otherwise fine. He was happy about his return to the village and away from the hell rainforest as he like to call it, starting to make his way to the stairs when something caught his eye. Far off on a spire a figure could be seen in a cloak Daniel looking closer, his eyes widening. He quickly runned them before looking again, the image gone. With that he hurried up the stairs unsure if he had seen someone from his past, mumbling to himself "Kuroi? No it can't be. Must be my imagination..."

With a swoosh of wind Midori appeared in the center of the room standing on the stage. Strangely despite the fact her appearance was usually immaculate today her clothing was quite disheveled and her hair was a mess. "Damn my head hurts, stupid hangover, stupid chaos" she muttered darkly under her breath as she made a quick futile effort to straighten her outfit before addressing the team that had returned.
"I'm glad to see you guys have made it back in one piece. I hope you've brought me back a lead on the enemy because I could use an excuse to go on a killing spree right about now after what happened last night." she said with a sweet smile.
"Speaking of guests their are some here to speak with you Daniel and Flagenza. I believe they said their names where Kuroi Kishi and Falta respectfully." She said with a light yawn.

Daniel looked at Midori and struggled not to laugh at her. Her apperance was appaling although he had to kept his silence and not laugh at her. She was the kage after all and laughing at one's kage didn't earn one any respect or like for that matter. He was about to answer her question on the assailants, playing out an image of Midori killing masses of indivduals when a name her dreaded was spoken out. His smile faded away completely and was replaced with one of dread. "No no no no no no no no no. Not like this. It can't end like this!" were his sole thoughts as he grabbed a chair to sit it, looking at the table. "So it was him. What will happen now...oh this is going end badly..." With that he looked up again, stress writen all over his face. "Gaikukage may I ask you what business he said he had with me out of curiousity?"

Death, unlike the well mannered Daniel, couldn't help from laughing. Death sat down before saying, "Jeez Midori, you look like you didn't have a fun time having a fun time last night, if you know what I mean!" While it was all an innocent joke, Death totally didn't realize how rude and inappropriate he was being. His timing was even worse considering Midori's killing urge.
Hearing that other people had somebody looking for them Death got jealous and had to ask, "Did anyone come for me? Perhaps in search of a dashing young hero who may or may not look like or have the same name as me?" Death was obviously over cheerful and it was probably going to get him in trouble. But he was just glad to be home.

flagenza looked at Midori. He was thrown off by her appearance. "did me and Daniel's guest do this to you Kage?" falgenza was conserned as to who might have been able to do this to Midori. he had a few suspeicions and if it happened to be a plant man flagenza had even more reason to take a chunk out of May.
"kage we have a problem. During the mission we encoutntered a man named Chaos who you have apparently encountered before. he seemed to be dead set on finding you and in my opionion wanted to make combat with you if not kill you. May released to him a great deal of information about you as well as leaving him open to travel here without any reason to believe he couldn't just attack you. After that we were attacked by an extremely large force of ninja from the village hidden in steel. half way through this battle May abandoned us. "
flagenza would have used harsher words against May but he needed to keep at a level of calm if he wanted to be taken seriously.
"We also have some new allies i would advise that what thave to say be listened to. but the should be held under scrutiny as well as some level of security as they were sent to our aid by chaos who you now know my opinion of."
flagenza felt strange saying this as he respected these new ninja a great deal but at the same time it was only safe and intelegent thing to sugest. as well he was intrigued by chaos and respected him but he also beleived he was extremely dangerous. flagenza felt conflicted at the moment.

As Death laughed at the Gaikukage the tempature around the room literally seemed to drop by about 10 decries and with it a strong feeling of blood lust rose up from her.
"No....nobody came to see you yesterday, but if you don't watch yourself you might get an unexpected meeting with the REAL grim reaper." She said darkly clearly not amused by his amusement at her predicament.
"Daniel he said he was your younger brother and that he was looking for you because you ran away. Is he telling the truth? Either way, if he is causing problems for you I have ways of fixing them." She said with an evil smile as she idol toyed with one of her more dangerous boomerangs to imply what that 'fix' might in tale.
Glancing over at Flagenza Midori sighed at his question. "No.... It wasn't your guests who did this to me..." She replied while secretly thinking "I almost wish it was. At least then that...mistake would never have happened"
Hearing about what happened with Chaos and May caused Midori to fidget nervously since at least some of that had been her fault. "Actually May did the right thing. Chaos is a super high level ninja and any info she gave him was nothing he would not have discovered on his own soon enough and it's not like their was anything you or anyone else in the room could have done to stop him had he truly wanted to leave." she replied.
"Frankly speaking if it had come down to a fight it would have almost certainly gotten almost all of you killed except for Death. Even under normal circumstances I would have found that outcome untolerable and given that we are at war right now that only makes it more so. Your lives are more important right now then a lead that might not even exist" She said firmly making it very clear how much she had wanted them to return alive.
"As for May vanishing half way during the fight... I'm afraid that was my bad." Midori admitted sheepishly. "I was attacked by a group of three around that same time while in high level negotiations with Chaos. Chaos took out the water user for me but the earth and air users where both fighting me at the same time in a way that made it...somewhat difficult for me to tackle them by myself." She revealed cautiously since she didn't like to admit that even as a kage she had her own limitations as a human being still.
"While I could have handled it in the long run eventually I needed to end it quickly for various reasons so I summoned May to assist me. She took the earth users arm and distracted him long enough for me to finish off the Air user before the earth guy got away." she said.
Taking out a scroll Midori unraveled it generating a puff of smoke which quickly cleared to reveal May. "She is not just my student or my sister but also my assistant. I'm sorry if calling her away caused any trouble for you, but I was confident you'd be able to make it back despite her absence. Next time I'll insure I have a way to return her to you if I need to borrow her again." She said plaintively as a way to try and reassure him.
"As for our guests..." Midori said slowly deciding not to reveal they where clones just yet. "Chaos..." She said the name with a touch of venom in her voice..."told me a little of them. I have paid him 350 million ryo for his assistance which includes their help. Tell me, since you have seen them in action first hand what do you think of their abilities?" She asked.
Thinking about the name of the village they had encountered enemies from her blood froze upon the mention of hidden steel. Of all places why did the enemy have to be them? Heck how had they even pulled such an attack off in the first place.
If Towns was only a medium sized village in comparison to the 5 great ones then Steel was barely a blip on the map. Or at least it had been several years ago when she had visited it during her first chunnin exam while causing an international incident in the process as part of a secret mission the first gaikukage had given her.
"You said the enemy force was extremely large.... How large exactly are we talking about...a couple dozen?" She asked knowing that would be about the size of the villages entire jounin roster. Privately she was thinking about how she was going to over to hidden steel in order to "negotiate" an end to the hostilities.

"I'm so touched that you speak so well of me." Chaos said as he formed up from the earth. Chaos had a sly and pleased smile on his face. He brushed a bit of hair out of his face and pulled out a disk out from under his cloak. "This is footage from... Oh wait wrong disk." Chaos quickly returned that disk and pulled out another one. "This is footage from these ninja's fight. I figured this would prove useful to your cause." Chaos tossed the disk to Midori's feet.
"Anyway those revived Gaioh ninja are yours to use as you see fit. They are nothing but advanced recreations, an advanced version of Edo Tensei. If they die then I only need to recreate them." Chaos said as he looked at his hand, his nails more accurately. He then drew a file and began to file them down. "Also I must thank you Midori for you research notes, they actually gave me a bit of good information. I learned a lot yesterday."

"Mistake Kage? What kind of mistake? I am well aware that i would have likely died should we tried to stop him. but that would have been better than stepping asid and saying go ahead the kage over there alone as all the skilled ninja are here just go kill her we can't stop you and wont bither to try." flagenza was still angered by the whole scenario it was like they had betrayed the kage. thank the heavens she had not been killed by chaos. if she had the rest of this village would burn
" well if you needed her then i guess that is perfectly acceptable. It just appeared she had made several self preservation decisions rather than decions for the village. if they were What you would have done and/or wanted then i guess i simply have differing opinion or did not understand the situation fully." flagenza took a deep breath while he took in the information surounding what had happened to midori during and after may's disapearance.
"The ninja are very strong and without a doubtskilled and would and do make good allies. there are thouroughly diverse and will without a doubt make a strong addition to our ranks."
he thought on it all before contiuing into the sentence that would likely destroy midoris entire grasp of the situation.
"There were at least 200 if not more, as well as five giants as well as one destructive and apowerful ninja who led and controlled the whole group.

When Death joked arund, Daniel could have sworn that the temperature changed rapidly, begining to mutter a quick prayer as the Grim Reaper had arrived. As Midori asked Daniel a question, he looked towards the ground, somewhat depressed by the news. "I see. In that case every word Kuroi said was true but your help is not nesseccary. I can take him down by myself. If anything he should be a mere genin and I am a chunin. The match is thus already decided. However I should add this. If he has promised anything to the village to remain here until he completes his main objective, he will adhere to it and he won't do anything to compromise it until he has completed the side objectives. Did he make a promise?"

While Death could not feel the temperature change, Midori's mood was obvious. She was very testy and thought she could threaten anyone who bothered her with a promise of death. The Grim Reaper was not something Death wished for people to toy about and frankly, this situation bothered him.
"Perhaps you should send The Reaper on me," Death suggested. "Death is in my name, after all." This was both sarcastic and serious at the same time; Death wasn't actually suggesting Midori use the Grim Reaper as her murder weapon, but Death would find it interesting, none the less.
Death did feel like arguing with Midori right now, but he had to thank her and therefore be nice. "Thank you for the compliment of me not getting killed by Chaos, by the way."
Speak of the devil, Chaos's appearance was... unexpected. "Hello again, my slimy green friend." Death looked him over, the last he had seen him through his own eyes was years ago. Chaos was different now. "What have you been up to besides 'sharing' research with Midori?" Death made air-quotes with his hands when he said sharing.

Flagenza was concerend chaos had beat them there and could have killed midori. just what he had fear may have quite likely come very close to passing if not for money. flagenza would have a hard time listening to May's orders in the future even more than ever.
but flagenza had bigger things to deal with. like how chaos might see him a enough of a nusance to just squash so as to not have waste a single moment more on him.
flagenza stood contemplating it all. midori and death together might be able to take chaos. and flagenza still had a trick thet only tailz had ever seen. at the moment chaos wasn;t as great a threat as flagenza thought but all together the next little while would be dangerous from all directions.
flagenza nodded at Chaos locking eyes with him. calmly flagenza spoke." Welcome back. I do hope you and the kage met without hostilites."

Chaos looked over at Death, his golden eyes seeming to glow for a second. "What have I been up to? Hehe..." Chaos chuckled a bit at his words. "Research, mercenary work, running a church... Hehehe... That and researching your enemies for you, Midori did pay me a large sum to find information out."
Chaos drew out a plastic bag that was filled with different pieces of metal, micro chips, a vile of water, and other odd trinkets that one couldn't tell what they were. "This is some things I was able to dig up as well." Chaos tossed that to Midori's feet. "Robots and technology are not my specialty so I will let you all take care of that."
