((Private!))
The last days of Summer were falling into Autumn now as the months changed and the weather became more unpredictable. It had been raining for quite a bit, but now as the middle of the week rolled around the Sun peaked out from behind the clouds for another Shine. It warmed the air and coated the sky with Blue instead of the Cloudy grey over the weekend.
Birds flew down to peck at the earth and people started to come out again to try and enjoy those last rays of sunshine. Kaitlyn had found herself now by the river. There was a bridge, and tons of trees. A good place to bring children and pets for a walk or just to sit and enjoy the atmosphere.
Pulling Rosalés out from her baby carrier, Kaitlyn decided that maybe she could let her child, he new little girl, get a feel for the world around her. Setting the baby down on a blanket she had laid out, Kaitlyn smiled though looked apprehensive. "Ok, be careful Rosa, try not to get hurt." Letting go, she watched her girl as she wobbled and flopped onto her belly. She was still blind, unable to look around at all. But the smells and sounds, the things she could touch, they would all teach her! Rosalés cooed curiously and patted the ground beneath her hands and body, feeling the rug.

((Private, if you can. It's harder to do open rps.))
Having decided to enjoy a walk in the park, Arick pushes the small stroller along the pathway through the park. He'd left Rhi'un with his uncle to allow Jai'aji, his youngest child, to figure things out on his own for a little while. The pale child would have to stay out of the sun and have child-safe sunblock on, but he was planning on having a good day either way.
He glances about for a good spot to put down the small blanket for the two of them and a small brunch. The black furred feline finds a great spot nearby another mom and her child and begins to settle in.
Hearing new sounds and smells, Jai'aji fidgets in his seat, ears flopping about as he tries to figure out what was going on. His little tail wiggles about happily from behind his specially designed jumper suit.

The young Horse child let her brown tail sweep the blanket, feeling around her with every part of her body that she could. Her little toes curled cutely, and her brown ears that sat upon Pink ringed head of hair lay back and twitched, listening around her.
Rosalés could hear the world, every beat and swirl of life that passed by to the baby was loud and painful yet interesting. She breathed it all in, or at least tried to and ended up sneezing in the process.
"Oh, be careful!" To Kaitlyn it had sounded like a wheeze and snuffle making her think she was breathing in the blanket and choking on it! Picking her child up, she brushed a hand over the silky pink hair and checked her over. Kaitlyn then reached over for the small strap in chair she had brought with her. It was made just to sit the baby in comfort and she thought maybe it would be good to let her do that for a while. Settling Rosalés into it, the baby started to cry. "Oh no please, don't cry!" She didn't know what to do, and frantically searched in her bag for something that might help not noticing a father settling down with his son next to her.

Arick had just started to settle his boy in when the woman started having problems with her baby fussing. He blinks and reaches over to lightly tap the silver bracelet around Jais' wrist. The metal glows for a moment, then a silver streak curls out from it, curling around the small infant.
Within moments, the magical charm had taken form and was now curled protectively around the small boy. The silver scales of the massive snake glittered in the light and the little puppy squeals in delight as he clings to the silky scales.
"Watch him for a moment, Micah." He stands up as the snake nods it's head, curling around to gently nudge the small boy with it's head, flicking the ghost like tounge over Jais' face. Arick grabs a spare textured binkie and walks over to the woman. He smiles sweetly as he approaches. "Excuse me miss, but I think this may help. It's a spare, so it's clean and you can have it if it does work." The feline holds the colorful binkie out.

Kaitlyn bounced the chair lightly, its springs making it easy to move and calm a baby or send them to sleep. It did not seem to be working though and she felt unsure and stupid. Just as the woman found a rattle out of the bag she'd been digging in at the same time, a man walked up and she stared. He offered to let her use a colourful Binkie that looked new, Kaitlyn didn't think the colour would do much since Rosalés could not see but anything was worth a try.
Taking it from him she gave a shaky smile in return. "Thank you, I'll try it." Holding the binkie Kaitlyn gently put it into the babies mouth and hoped for the best.
Her little face was bright pink contrasting against her pale skin and the cheeks were wet. Eyes shut tight, Rosalés chewed on the binckie. Kaitlyn turned to the male who had given her something wonderful to stop the baby from crying and looked very shocked. You could tell she was such a new mother, so shaky and unsure of herself. "Thank you so much!" The woman put the rattle on the rug that covered the grass saving it for another time.
