I know alot of people don't like this anime/manga but I love it. 3nodding Mello is my favorite. 3nodding But Ryuuk awsome too. xd I cried when Matt and Mello died but I laughed when Light died. I hate him as much as Takumi. scream

This was a good anime as well I thought but well... Light was ******** up/Insane/ Wachoo... What ever else you wanted to call him, getting that death note went straight to his head... Getting his a** shot served him right... I loved L, I think he's just like me-- Always eating sweats no matter what their size or how un healthy they are lol... The end made me sad, I was like "Damn, I had it when good animes end :/"

I positively ADORE Death Note (see avatar, haha). It's one of the few series where I don't hate any of the main characters. I mostly love L and the Wammy's House kids (Matt, Mello, Near,) but I really loved Light's character too. He really is a sad character, I think, what with everything he had going for him, and by chance he happened to find the Death Note.
Anyways, with the exception of Takada (that b***h killed Mello!! stressed ) and her bodyguards (those b******s killed Matt!!), I liked all the characters. Oh wait, there was Misa. Yeah, didn't like her...Aside from the women of Death Note (wow, that sounded terrible, I liked Sayu though!), I liked all the characters. ^_^
Excellent series! And I'm glad it ended. There's nothing I hate more than a good series that starts to suck because it's gone on too long *coughInuYashacough*

I actually liked Misa, but the rest of the chicks (other than Light's sister) sucked. >.< Mello and Matt were amazing!!!! Near was badass too. I was okay with Light until he got into the whole "I'm God of the New World!!!" phase, then I got annoyed with him.

The thing that bothered me with Misa was the whole "I'll do anything for you Light." thing. When it was just Kira-worship, I at least understood that, since Kira killed the murderer that killed her parents. When she didn't have memories of the Death Note, she was just worshiping Light, which tends to bother me when it comes to female characters...yeah.... sweatdrop I liked her sense of fashion though!!
Light's one of those characters that I wouldn't want to hang out with much, but I like him in the story. I decided I liked him during that brief period of time when he didn't remember the Death Note, as that's when I got to see the sort of person he would've been had he not picked up the notebook. The God complex was obnoxious, but it was part of him, so I don't mind it too much...
On a side note, I have the coolest shirt with Near on it!! It's Near, and it has his Mello, Near, L, and Kira puppets at the bottom of it. I really do like Near, though frequently people don't believe me. I generally run into Near-gaia cosplayers in Gaia Towns when I'm RPing with other characters, so for the sake of being in character, I have to be mean to him. I always end up having to explain that I'm in character, and I really do like Near, haha.... sweatdrop
And I'm doing that rambling thing again....very sorry.............

I just like Misa's personality. I love how childish and headstrong she is! 4laugh
I actually liked Light even less when he forgot the Death Note. He seemed like one of those guys who'd be a clueless a*****e.
I really like Near to, I had a hell of a time figuring out who I liked more, Near or Mello. In the end I decided on Mello. It seems like he's the only smart person who seems real. Plus I love characters with anger issues. twisted Although, I did go through a Matt phase for awhile, he reminds me of myself. I still think he's awesome.
The shirt does sound pretty awesome. I have one that's white and has L on it with a bunch of faded images in the background.
