((This RP is meant to take place at the Disco Extravaganza, just some time other then what is going on currently at the disco - I mean that thing proabbly went on for hours, yes? We only covered maybe and hour of it for now. So, if you guys want to join in for some random hobnobbing - bring it on. And once we get tired of this I will post it into the Disco thread as an FYI. No need for heavy intros etc.))
As the disco party was winding down, Fluorine floated over to the snack bar again. Man, was she beat - all the rolling, falling and socializing really winded her out. She stretched out on one of the small benches conveniently provided by the party's organizers and stretched her hand for the snacks nearby. Mmmmmm chocolate ...

Antimony made his way into the party classically late, but had made himself scarce, halfway out of embarrassment and halfway out of sheer shock. Augh, it had been so long since he'd seen another Mendel besides Rhodium! Besides... he really didn't want to reacquaint himself with those roller-skates, or as he had now dubbed them, pain-shoes.
He fluttered absentmindedly over to the snacks, blinders on for the chocolate. Score! He idly wondered how much he could nab and store at his place before the night was over. Deep in his raccoon-like thought, his hand bumped a very familiar violet one as he reached for a piece. Startled, he jerked it back to his chest like he had just touched a flaming stove.
"F-Flo?!"

Fluorine turned around to stare blankly at the handsome fellow with wings and hair. VERY handsome, really. Pulling her hand back, she smiled preemptively: "Hi! Nice to meet you?". She scanned Antimony up and down. Hmm ... not very metallic, not liquidy, has wings ... the scientific deduction process was drawing a blank as to what element was standing in front of her. "I didn't mean to spook you." - she offered to the startled mendel. Inside Fluorine was hoping it wasn't her long lost lover or something ... though ... you know ... he WAS very cute ...
((So to explain, I am being lame and pleading temporary amnesia of anything that occurred unless I find that RP in the old thread, since Flo's diary was eaten by Gaia and while I remember the gist of things I do not remember the specifics nor the resolution of Flo/Anti affair crying . And maybe it is better to have a fresh start for Flo with most mendels - she had a lot of old grudges.))

Antimony is not the most tactful of Mendels, nor was he very smooth, and therefore wasn't really capable of concealing his utterly baffled expression. He stared in puzzled silence for quite some time as he chewed on Fluorine's response. Nice to meet you? Had he spoken to the wrong Mendel on accident? But no, she did respond to 'Flo.' He remained confused.
"Flo, is it you?" He cursed at himself internally for asking. That amazing figure was unmistakable! But it had been a long time since he'd seen her. Perhaps his mind had fuzzed up things a bit.

The purple mendel turned around and shifted face Antimony, crossing her legs and leaning on one hand. She was enjoying the positive attention.
"Yeah ... no, I mean, yeah I AM Flo. Fluorine that is." - she paused. Though Fluorine didn't really want to explain the whole cryochamber bit since she herself didn't know why she got frozen in the first place, but it would not do to leave the winged fellow in the dark. "Best I can explain is that my memories are a bit frozen right now, so ... who are you? You seem to know me and you seem not to hate me, either."
With that she grabbed the chocolate square Anti had been reaching for and took out a bite. It was sweet in her mouth. Sweet. Sweet as honey. That made Flo look up at Antimony again. Honey ... somehow this guy reminded her of it.

"Oh!" Antimony sort of blubbered. Jeez, frozen? What sort of trouble had Flo gotten into? "Are you alright? I mean, that is, not that you don't look alright.... or anything." Eeeugh. Oh yes, she had asked a question! He quickly changed the subject.
"Ach, sorry. I'm Antimony." He fluttered down a bit closer to the bench where Fluorine was sitting. "And nah, of course I don't hate you," he said, a crooked smile creeping goofily across his face. "You were always getting into crazy stuff. I'm glad to see you in once piece, at least." The powdery mendel grinned and grabbed a piece of chocolate as well, having entirely forgotten his plans to stash a bunch of it away for later.

''I'm alright" - Fluorine grinned. "It's liberating to not remember much, especially since you say I got into a lot of crazy stuff before. I bet that is why I froze myself, maybe things just got too crazy." - she shrugged. This guy seemed easy going and genuine.
"Antimony, huh? Are you here for the skating fun?" - she nodded towards the ring where the humans were going round and round, most of them quite a bit drunk by this point.

Guh, skating! Antimony shook his head, probably much too enthusiastically. "Eh, no. Not exactly. Skates and myself don't get along too well." He admitted as he looked back at the rink, remembering all too well his experience with it.
"What about you?" Anti bit off another piece of chocolate and turned his attention back to Fluorine. "With all of your...uh, wing crystals and stuff I imagine it'd be hard to keep balance," he said, gesturing with his hands to her wings. Probably not the most GENTLEMANLY thing to say...but that didn't occur to him.

"Oh, the crystals aren't a problem. They are balanced out just fine up front." - Fluorine grinned shamelessly, pointing to the obvious place. But she didn't push it further, uncharacteristically. Instead she finished her snack and yawned.
"I tried skating for a bit with this golden girl, Miori, but I am clumsy and falling on one's a** isn't too much fun. I came back here to see if Gallium left any beer, but she's not around. I think the goth boy and her hit it off kinda hard."
There was a pause as Fluorine though what to do next. She was tired but finding a place to sleep was too much work and she secretly hoped that when the party died down she cold just sleep in the Mendel labs somewhere, and figure out her life the next day.
"So ... what kind of crazy stuff was I known for?" - she asked Antimony.
