Poem.
Donald R. Anderson (me) The Barter System
Perhaps what we need to solve the problem of not having money is to switch off of use of money and credit entirely... to barter with something made, some commodity of time and/or product, instead of our current rut where people want money for rights, money for nothing, money for intangibles such as subscriptions, licenses, interest.

Charging for rights would be a step backwards. I'd hope we would do as few steps backwards as we can, but since the Bush administration we've taken some major steps backwards... and stayed backwards if not worse.

I think a large part of it is that everyone's feeling so pessimistic, and so they're trying to protect themselves as best they can... D: oh modern life... at least it keeps things... sorta interesting....

I'd have problems finding a cow... : D
Maybe I can get something for a dog or cat... lol. Though, reverting back to the barter system is quite controversial, so to say. Ah wells... what's a thoughts' worth? .____.
Nice poem though; makes you think.

Thanks, I'd also like to enact a law stating that only laws that protect the lives and pursuit of happiness of the individuals it governs will be enforceable, but see how controversial that could be.

It isn't a new concept, why are people acting like it is (except maybe the idea of bartering rights, that is just plain nuts)? I think most of us are sick of Capitalism and its restraints.
