Jaja with flashbombs I just base it solely on luck. xD Making sure the monster isn't enraged. Works the majority of times. I usually toss them right in their face. But what I really want to work on is getting a wyvern down and confused while its in mid air. Done it with a Rathalos but only once xD;

Sleep Shot + Sleeping Monster + Large Barrel Bomb(+) + Shooting those bombs or using small barrel bomb(+) = Almost dead monster.
That my friends and fellow hunters is called sleep bombing!

I guess I can offer a lil tip.
A Sonic Bomb only works on a burrowed Mono/Diablos when it's moving. it's hard, but if ya get it right, you can get in a few good hits on it's back.
