Since we already started a discussion about books in the new pagan looking for help thread, I thought I'd continue and make a proper thread about Cunningham.
So what are your opinions of this book?

I like the way he writes, but I was very uncomfortable with his "love and light" attitude. I much preferred "Living Wicca".

I haven't read Living Wicca in a while. It was actually the first book of his I read. The store I bought it from didn't have Wicca for the Solitary practitioner in stock. They ordered it for me, but I had to wait for it.
I wish he had gone into a bit more detail about circle casting in Wicca for the Solitary practitioner but I did like the simple altar set up and simple ideas for rituals. Simplicity is nice, especially when one is just starting out on their path.

I agree with Sanguina Cruenta. I enjoy his writing style. However I do feel Living Wicca is superior to Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner. I think it is just written in a more mature voice, one with experience as opposed to in Wicca where he does sound a bit like the novice full of enthusiasm for his new path.

To the one that I serve It's been a long time since I read that second book so I'd need to reread it. Though right now my focus is on the ITOW work. I will give my all
