I mean this as in gifts that you receive, not gifts you have (like talents) but, however the conversation goes.....
I had a friend stop in yesterday, the Asatruar who worked with my eclectic personal circle for awhile....He was home from the U.K. for a bit (he graduated with his Masters in Education and went to Britain to teach middle school) and I was fortunate enough to be on his short list of people to visit while he was stateside. He brought me a torque! Now, it is a bit big for me but, direct from the U.K., a pagan gift!

The closest thing I have ever gotten was my grandmother giving me a couple of dollars to buy a goddess statue...

This torque is precious for the miles it came and the thought behind it....I'll have to make more regular trips to facebook to keep up with this friend (we used to hang on LiveJournal but....yeah, one moves on, on the internet).
You know, I looked at my 'ritual' items and there's a story to all of it. Nothing 'cost' a lot in $$; the individual items just sort of found me, from the garage-sale candleholders and mismatched plates to the inexpensive but handmade chalice and salt holder.
