What is this?!!
Custom Breeding Babies is pretty much exactly what it sounds like. It will allow owners to add custom babies to any breeding, per the rules below - without having to wait for normal custom slots to open. Custom breeding babies do not "replace" babies that are rolled in any way but add up to two extra babies to any breeding! The custom babies will be born at the same time as other babies and they will all grow together.
Anytime that you order a custom breeding baby, please post your form in this thread and also follow all other instructions there!!
Rules/Guidelines
1 - Colorists have the choice whether or not they wish to offer this.
2 - Any colorist who DOES offer this should have SET prices for non-edited up to lots of edits. You can have as many "steps" between as you wish, but the prices need to be set. For example ::
Color Only: 75k
General Edits: 100k
Heavy Edits/Most Cosplays: 200k
OMGWTF Edits: 300k
ALSO, you may lower the prices for simply adding extra "random" babies like in rule 9. As in, the person ordering the baby knows they want an extra and say the species and gender of it but they're leaving pretty much everything else up to the colorist.
3 - Since these will still count as a breeding, colorists will get to keep ALL profit from custom babies.
4 - Custom babies STILL fall under the normal breeding rules - each owner of the parents may still only keep 2 babies out of the breeding (or 3, or whatever for RP breedings). So if you custom a baby, you'd only be able to keep one other baby from the normal breeding roll. This is not meant to be used so the same owner can get extras.
Note: This refers to breedings where the parents are owned by different people. Single-owner breedings are different, and the owner of the parents is still only required to give away one baby.
5 - Each owner may only custom in 1 baby. So, the same owner cannot custom in 2 babies.
6 - After the normal breeding babies have been dropped off, there will be a 24 hour window in which you can post to get custom babies - if you haven't already. Meaning if babies are dropped off at 10pm, you have until 10pm the next day to post your custom form(s). If you post any form after 24 hours have passed, you will not get that custom. Check the top of colorists' breeding threads to see where you should post these forms!!
7 - Any breeding with Common or Uncommon species of ponies will have 2 available custom slots. In any breeding with one Rare or Super-rare species pony, only ONE of the the two available custom babies may be a Rare or Super-rare. In any breeding with two Rare or Super-rare species ponies, there will only be 1 custom slot, period.
For example: Dragon x Pegasus breeding - would have two custom slots but only ONE of those may be used to get a dragon baby.
Example two: Dragon x Dragon - there will only be one custom slot - no matter what type of baby is customed
8 - If you custom in a baby that is NOT a Rare or Super-rare, you may only custom into ONE breeding per month. Meaning, you'll have to wait until the next month to be able to to get another custom baby. If you custom in a baby that IS a Rare or Super-rare, you will have to wait 3 months before you can custom in another baby. This is per owner, not per pony/pairing. There will be a list set up below this post so that staff can keep track with who has customed babies in what months and what category the babies were in. These will be according to the OWNERS of the customed babies and not who paid for them. So if you wish to pay for a custom baby for a friend, it will not count against you for customing in a baby for yourself in the same month.
9 - The wait period for custom babies is from the time you RECEIVE the baby, not from the time you order it. So, you couldn't order another custom baby until you've received the previous one, and then waited the appropriate length of time.
9.5 - As an addition/modification to the above rule - since some colorists have RL conflicts and etc and can take a much longer time to get babies from breedings done....
If the time between ordering and receiving a custom baby goes 1 month past the normal cooldown period for that type of baby, you are clear to order another one.
Example: You order a Rare baby, and 4 months pass from the date of the order and you haven't received your baby.... You may now order another one! (with proof, see below!)
Just to keep things from getting out of hand, please find a way to keep up with proof of when you ordered your last baby. For example: If ordered in a thread, link to your post. If ordered by PM, have the colorist you ordered from send a copy of that PM to the colorist you're ordering your new custom baby from. If the colorist is seriously MIA and can't be contacted to send the something as proof, please come to Manda or Seph for help!
10 - For custom breeding babies, people ARE allowed to custom-in Cosplay ponies. However, these should still fall under normal Cosplay rules (not on someone else's list, etc etc). Also, any Cosplay custom-in babies should relate SOMEHOW to the parents. They don't necessarily have to look like them, but should probably at least be from the same series/book/etc. Or if the parents are not Cosplays, the species should be the same as a pony in the family line, or something. Example: You could custom a Pokemon cosplay if Ash was the father. But you could not custom a Digimon cosplay.
11 - If wanted, owners will also be able to pay custom price in order to just get another "random" baby added in. Meaning the colorist will decide what the baby looks like, species, gender, etc, you're just paying for an extra (or extras, if both owners were to pay). Likely, if the parents had any edits at all, the extra babies would be guaranteed edits. Keep in mind some colorists may lower prices for babies like this and some may not - that's up to them!
12 - For those who wish to do this, I will set up a thread to announce if you have "open" custom slots in your breeding. Meaning you can post information about the family and such and allow others the chance to custom a baby into your breeding. Of course, this isn't required, but it's a neat idea.
13 - ANY species in the parents' bloodline will be available for custom babies. BUT if you want a species that neither of the parents is, you will have to provide links to prove the parents' bloodline tie to that species. For example, if you had 2 Earth ponies, and wanted a Dragon baby ... you know there is a Dragon who was the great-grandmother of the father. So you would have to put links like so:
link - Father's father, Pony 1 Name
link - Pony 1's mother - Dragon
Or something similar XD
ON SERYPHS - Seryphs ARE allowed to be customed-in. HOWEVER, all Seryphs must have a twin. This can happen in one of two ways. Either the colorist can choose to make one of the rolled babies a Seryph, OR another person may custom in a second Seryph. If you want to find out if the colorist is willing to make one of the rolled babies a Seryph, please ask them. And please do not complain if they say no. This is the ONLY rare-species where two custom-in slots are available. Other than that, however, all other rules still apply. Meaning, if two people custom-in Seryphs, both of them would still have to wait the longer time period to custom-in again.

Custom Breeding Babies List
This is a month-by-month list of what owners received what type of custom breeding baby. From time to time, old months will be cleaned out by Manda.
Colorists should update this list when they post or send out the custom breeding babies. This is to keep track of when owners can order another custom breeding baby. For Common and Uncommon species, this time period is one month. For Rare and Super-rare species, the time period is three months.
