I think I just had the worst luck ive had in a long while. Ok, while playing rugby I caught the ball wrong, with my right ring finger sticking out infront of the ball. Now it has one of them inside bruises that made it widen out double its length and take a week minimum to heal. I cant even make a fist. Now this wouldnt be too bad, but in 2 weeks I am going on a school camp, then I will stay in townsville for a week. That means over a month of no training. This is terrible. I actually felt like crying when I realiesed this (I didnt though, too much pride).
Anyway, I was just wondering if anybody has had as bad luck as this before?

um...nothing like that, but i did chip some bone off my thumb at the very base of the joint in a fight once, took a week or two to heal, still trained, just did my push ups one handed, did all my techniques w/ my right hand open handed...had to adapt, but ya nothing where i couldn't train.

Well, about 8 months ago, I torm my right hamstring, completely severing it. I was told I couldn't train, but I did anyways. XD It took me a week before I could actually walk and I had to go to a physical theropist to heal my injury. It just finished healing at the beginning of the summer.

I messed up my left knee and both of my hips in one day... They still pop in and out of place a lot and I had to stop training for almost a year. It's still difficult to walk but the doctor told me that I can start training again in a could of months. The head of the school even said no training till I gave him a doctors note saying it's ok... I tried training on my own but with no one to compare myself to I have no idea how I've been doing. I hate being out of class because not only am I gaining weight, but I feel like something's missing... I still have my hands though, so I guess I should count myself lucky... I can still Maille! Only thing that's kept me sane... And it's great for working your arms and fine tuning your hand movements...

A severe ankle injury during post-Basic training in Israel knocked me out of action (and training) for the better part of two months, during which I could only sit on my butt and attend physical therapy. A nice vacation, but boring as piss, plus the rest of my unit beat me out of training.
