But when Al put the radio back together, it just kinda smashed on the floor, so all the parts were there (even if they were broken) so he just fixed the parts and put it back together. Isn't that what happened? (Tell me if i'm wrong)

But when Al put the radio back together, it just kinda smashed on the floor, so all the parts were there (even if they were broken) so he just fixed the parts and put it back together. Isn't that what happened? (Tell me if i'm wrong) What Ed does is use the automail and make it into a sharp object, thats all. And you are right with the radio. I just don't understand how that is..misunderstood I guess.

@Radio-he exchanged the broken pieces of the radio for the entirity, he didn't make it any different or anything... @Ed's arm-He just changes the arm's structure, no loss or gain, really...

Yeah, but i don't get how that would be ideal for fighting, because i'd make the outer layer and blade thinner and potentially weaker.

with the readio he just recombined the broken pieces together he didn't create anything. so the rule was nulified as for his arm....i have no idea!
