A guild is not complete without a favourite character thread! >O
My favourite cahracters are Mytho and Fakir. <33 Though I love Mytho more. So pure yet...not. XD I like how his character changes throughout, and his name.
Fakir I love because he's all protective. XD He makes a nice guy for Ahiru to go with. <333

I love Fakir, so much whee . He develops so well throughout the series. And he's just plain awesome, anyway! So what if he's a bit mean? He has good reason, y'know...
And yes, Fakir and Ahiru are adoreable together heart .

I adore all of them, for all different reasons. Rue for one I think I really admire her because she starts out as a snobby little spoiled brat that I hated but then she started going through her hardships and she really developed into a different person from everything that happened through out the series.
Ahiru because she's alwas trying to be optamistic(sp? o.O) through out the entire thing no matter how bad they get and they do get bad, expecially in the second season.
Fakir because he goes through a lot of character development aswell, different from Rue's but still compelling and heart warming aswell.
And Mytho for hanging in there despite all that happens to him, the poor guy goes from a heartless shell to a semi human being who's starting to gain back a few emotions, to a puppet of the raven monster and then to finally being his normal self, the prince of the story.
All the characters have hard ships through out the series and they all struggle with them in their own way but they also get through things in their own way with support from other characters in the series wether they be major or minor.

My favorite would be Fakir. But, well, I like angsty, protective bishounen, so I'm biased.
Mytho was too much of a flower-vase for most of the anime for me to really like or dislike him... He's just... THERE, if you know what I mean. Heh.
I hated Rue in the beginning. By the end, I loved her. *shakes head in amazement* That's one of the magical things about this series. =)
Ahiru was... well... okay, for a female lead. She's a little klutzy, but she's got strength of character. So I guess she makes for a much better female protagonist than say - dare I say it - Miaka, from Fushigi Yuugi. =D

From the episodes that i've seen ( only 11 crying crying crying crying ) I'd say that Fakir is my favorite character....
He seems like the normal rough, i-dont-like-to-talk-about-my-feelings guy who is bossy and practically dislikes everyone, but when Ahiru went to give the letter to Mytho as a duck and Fakir pick her up, brought her outside, and gave her some bread........IT WAS JUST TOO CUTE!...And it showed that he's not such a bad guy after all..
..plus he's cute too heart mrgreen
but, that's my opinion from what i've seen ^^;
