So is everyone getting ready for NaNo '09? Got an idea of what you want to write about this year? Need advice on your subject of choice? Post it here.

I think I'm with a Power Ranger theme this year. The team is made up of espers with various powers.

I'm already done planning. I always do my planning in early August. I know exactly what I'm going to write about, and what to pad my story with if it comes out too short. ;D

My novel this year is going to be magical girl, same as last year.

I can't wait for November!

That's what the NaNo story padding section is for (if they still have it). Have the characters do something like play a role-playing game with lots of flavor text from the Dungeon Master.

Have a character go through a flashback.

I have several plots I want to work on, but first I'll try to finish up my current project. I don't have a problem with reaching 50k words with any plot; instead, my ideas tend to turn out too long (like the novel my first year that ended at 90k), so last year's novel may instead end up being a trilogy. That mean this year's NaNo will be a continuation of last year's, sort of, and hopefully it'll go a bit better. ^^;;
