I use my Animal Divine by Lisa Hunt and I'm between pendulums . People have very strong connections with there divination tools and ways. I'm wondering what do you favor, why, whats your connection with the tools, and what rituals do you have to keep them charged and full of energy and strengthen your connection? I lay mine out before the Lady Moon when shes full or I find sleeping with there book guides is comforting and helps connect.

I'm still experimenting with different forms of divination to work with. Though I have a "spirit of the wheel" meditation deck that I use and works quite well.

I work with the Animal Wise deck by Ted Andrews.
I've never read any of his other books but I love this deck smile It's very open and welcoming.

I've also started to think about using the Well Worn Path and Hidden Path decks by Raven Grimassi for myself. Mostly because they can help me develop an understanding of the symbolism found in most paganism witchcraft books.

I would love to try a pendelum one day, but since I don't have one and I haven't found one that I like yet.. kinda difficult to. I have no desire what so ever to try runes. No clue why, they're pretty and all, just no connection. I got my one and only tarot deck from the checkout line at barnes and noble. And I love it and it works great and I've had it for a few years now. I can't see myself using any other deck.

I'm still looking for a deck theres so many that I'm a little confused as to what I should be getting to start with. I'm thinking about one of those packs with a deck and book that explains how to use it and gives you spreads for different things.

I work with the druatch runes, they are specifically for my path so hold more meaning to me than other divination systems. they were hard to get used to, but are the best reads I have.

City of the dead – will crush your dreams City of the dead – will clip your wings I work with the tarot normally. I do have a few spheres which I have used to scry and I just got a mirror, its not black but it works a bit. I just got a pendulum, I have used it once or twice but I havent gotten attached to it yet. I've also done scrying via fire its quite entertaining. I hav e no desire to use the runes, Ive tried a set of my friends but they felt so alien and strange that I never tried again. City of the dead – is here to break you City of the dead – is here to make you

I use a few different decks. I have a Witches Tarot, Spiral Tarot and Spirit Tarot. The first two read well for me regardless of it is my question or I am doing it for someone else. The Spirit Tarot though only works for me.
I also use pendulums for divination. I have a mat that I use with it. My circle friends and I have also used our pendulums when we use our psychic circle board.
Runes are not my thing. I can occasional use the symbols themselves in spell work depending on what I am doing, but mostly the energy the give me is to harsh and does not work well with my own. I have made a set of Elder Futhark runes, the vibes I got from them were cooperative during that mostly because they were not for myself, they were a gift for my husband.
I have been working on water scrying, as I connect well to earth and water I figured it might work better for me than my last attempt at fire scrying.

I don't really have a favorite tool in general, instead, I feel that some forms of divination are suited to different situations- and that each situation is unique enough that even though there are common themes, that doesn't mean that what would work for one instance would work for another similar instance.

I do a lot of work with tarot, I go between my Rider-Waite tarot deck and Druid tarot. I would love to get more scrying equipment, mainly a mirror.

I tend to use Tarot when I'm actively trying to divine things. I have a few different decks; three Rider-Waite and one Marseilles, all in different styles. No one works better than the others, they just have moods. I've also used pendulums, and tried a couple different kinds of runes. Pendulums are very good for when I can form a coherent, narrow, yes or no question, but I mostly use them when trying to find things. Runes aren't really my thing, though Ogham runes tend to object less violently than Norse. Meditating on quartz also works really well for me, though I need a spotter when doing that. I also get premonitive dreams, and can sometimes guide those, though rarely. And when I'm in really good form (or bad, depending on how you rank the whole self-preservation thing) I can occasionally induce premonitions and visions while waking. Those most definitely need a spotter.

So far, tarot and pendulums are the most accurate for me. If I had to decide between these two, it would be pendulums hands down (though there are other readings that I can get better while using my tarot decks). Usually when I use my pendulums, it's me asking for advice. I do have the most connection with my pendulums (tart cards coming in second). My pendulums even have names.

Tarot is definitely my favorite. Or meditation. Energy working is how I keep my deck up to par for me and for others. I haven't tried very many other forms of divination. My brother works with Runes, and my mom sees orbs and communicates with plants. (not as out there as it may sound lol) I use my Rider-Waite deck. I'm hoping to get a new deck as soon as I can land a job though c:
