Hehe, well I've been replaying all the older FF games and I am sad to say that I am getting kinda annoyed with super bosses. If you don't know what that is, I guess I'll tell ya.
Super bosses are optional bosses that are harder than the final boss. They can vary from piece of cake, to breaking your controller out of blind rage. Examples of this are Iron Giant from the DS remake of FF3, Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts, I think you get the picture now.
This is a thread that will let you talk about bosses you really don't enjoy, or like but are near impossible to beat.

For me, it would the nightmare known as Shinryu. Not only is he way harder than Omega Weapon, but he absorbs holy. So if you got used to using Excalibur, guess what, your out of luck. I tend to use a slightly lesser blade with Flare blade spell to hpfully kill him before he unleashes icestorm or any other insanly powerful attack on me.
Another would be the GBA remake of 6. Kaiser dragon is a b***h! I have made Edgar a walking slaughterhouse with my master scroll+Genji glove+ two Ultima weapons. Yet despite the massive beat down I give him, he doesn't go down without an entire team to blow through him.

Oh I remember which boss I absolutely hated back in the day. Drove me to the point of insanity. Gaf the dark knight in tactics. He is really helpful WHEN HE IS ON YOUR SIDE! I swear, you needed to break or steal that sword asap before he unleash night sword on you. Man I hated fighting anyone who had dark knight skills. I mean seriously, the most overpowered job ever. Here I am pouncing on him with Ramza and holy explosioning him with agrias, and he is still not dead because he feeds off the damage he deals to you!

Blood weapons and blood magic attributes were taken from tactics. Whatever damage Nightsword does to you(Normally a lot) it heals you that exact amount. While there was drain which healed you what you drained, and blood sword, which would hurt the enemy a certain percentage depending on their health and heal you a nice portion of the damage you did.
