Nestled in a corner of the Jurain space station OmegaXis-Jurai is Flynn's workshop. A few carefully-selected apprentices assist her in her work and keep shop when she isn't here. The buzz of tools, churr of broken robots, and boom of Flynn's angry shouting fill the air.
Flynn's residence is located above the workshop, but the door is usually locked tight (and the lock is Flynn's own design, so good luck trying to crack it).

Flynn paused to wipe the sweat from her forehead, effectively creating a line of oil across it. She was hard at work repairing a tourist's personal "companion droid", a rather primitive "female" android programmed with only a limited set of favorable responses to interactions with the owner. The responses ranged from giggling, to caressing, to simply cutting to the chase and disrobing. Trouble was, she had recently developed this awful whirring noise and shut down in the middle of intercourse. Ah, the wonders of modern technology! Just as Flynn bent to return to her work, her concentration was broken by the crash of metal falling to the floor. The cacophony was followed by a slur of curses from some of the apprentices toiling in the other room, and it was only a matter of time before Flynn heard that meek, pathetic voice. "Flynn?" it said. "I think I broke something..."Adelaide. A sweeter girl there would never be, but someone clearly crossed her wires wrong when they made her. "That's alright, sweetheart," Flynn said to the blond-haired girl who peered timidly around the door. "It'll give those lazy boys something to do later. I think they can afford to spend a little less time on the holodeck and a little more time working for a change." Flynn could hear a few muffled complaints from the apprentices. She would never have spoken so kindly in response to one of their screw-ups. But Adelaide was special for reasons they just couldn't see.

Stumbling about Yoshia sighed, looking about at all the new technology. I really have been away for so very long. Looking up he noticed the store he was currently in and felt a bit foolish. "Would you happen to know where I can get some tea...or rather where the resturants are?"

Adelaide was busy hastily picking up the bashed and bruised metallic parts she had knocked over while sweeping. She was alone in the front room--Flynn was hard at work in a broken android in her office and the apprentices were failing at pretending to work on another project in the much larger workshop in the back. So, naturally, when Adelaide heard another voice in the room, she gave a start, dropping and further damaging a few of the very pieces she was trying to preserve.
"Ah..." Adelaide looked up at Yoshia helplessly. This really was a terrible day, and she usually did her best to stay out of the way of customers.
"Tea?" Adelaide repeated after dumping the parts she held in her arms into a box on a low shelf nearby. "Um...well...I think most of the eateries are on the upper decks, closer to the ship docking areas. But we have tea here if you're looking for Flynn..."
Adelaide immediately felt a bit silly for saying that, considering this man had just made it clear that he was looking for a restaurant and not Flynn. Besides that, all the tea they had here had been made by her, and both Flynn and all the apprentices had agreed that her tea was just about the most foul-tasting brew in the universe.

Yoshia looked at her softly, and blinked; not quite sure at what he was looking at. Sighing he nodded slightly, "well how much will it cost? And what kind of shop is this place?" He asked smiling in a friendly manner. She looks just like her... there are no such things as coincedences.

PreviousAdelaide brightened a bit, not seeming to notice the odd looks she was receiving from the man.
"Oh, it's free for customers, sir," she said. "And this is Flynn's engineering workshop. It's not so much a store as a...build and repair center, I guess. She works on commissions, mostly, but she's really an amazing engineer...I think she could build just about anything!"
Adelaide's admiration for Flynn showed clearly on her smiling face. It was the sort of look one might expect a puppy to give when adoring its owner.
"There's a chair over there," Adelaide continued, motioning to a seat in the corner. "If you take a seat, I'll go fetch the tea and Flynn for you."

"Oh well thank you," He bowed slightly, something he had retained since he was a child. "Also, I'd like to make plans for a commision if that's quite alright then." "By the way young lady my name is Yoshia," the elder man smiled ans found a place to sit; his old age seeming apparent.

PreviouslyAdelaide smiled and curtsied awkwardly in return, attempting to be accommodating to this man's old-fashioned ways.
"I'm Adelaide," she said. "And you'll have to discuss commissions with Flynn. I'm afraid the whole thing is beyond me."
Adelaid laughed awkwardly before giving another little bow and hurrying out of the room to fetch both the tea and Flynn. Just a few seconds after she had disappeared from sight, the sound of Adelaide's voice shouting "Flynn! Customer!" broke the rhythmic whir or Flynn's machines. After a pause of a few more seconds, Adelaide once again reemerged in the room and delivered a small teacup and plate to a table beside Yoshia. The teacup was made to appear like ordinary glass, but it kept the liquid inside at a constant temperature while keeping the outside cool to the touch.
Adelaide bowed once more, seeming to think this was a gesture she needed to repeat often, and bustled out of the room.

PreviousA few moments passed before Flynn came into the room. She was wiping her hands on a rag that was already stained with grease, smudges of grease from her previous project visible on her clothes, face, and arms. Still, Flynn looked perfectly in her element now, smiling brightly at Yoshia as she leaned against a small desk in front of him. "Sorry for the mess," Flynn said, gesturing to her appearance. "I've been tinkering away on some robo-fetishist's antique. Ain't exactly the cleanest model, if you know what I mean." Flynn held out her hand, which was still greasy despite the furvor with which she had scrubbed it with the rag. "I'm Flynn Ran," she said, "and you are...?"

"Yoshia," He bowed slightly, "Are you up to date on lightsaber technology?" He asked curiously, his hands pulling out a small crystal from his robes. "Because I want to get something new age, but with a classic format. However...this commission; you wont be allowed to say who its for or whose paying for it."

PreviousFlynn smiled, enticed by Yoshia's to-the-point way of speech. He was clearly a man who knew what he wanted and when he wanted it. She liked that. "There's nothing technological I ain't up-to-date on, Yoshia," Flynn said as she walked around to the other side of the desk. She opened a drawer and pulled out a small, black square that resembled a picture frame. With the tap of a button, the inside of the frame appeared to become tinted with blue. "Political or criminal?" Flynn asked, testing the blue film with a stylus before smiling slyly at Yoshia. "Not that I mind, but it makes fer a good story, ya know? Anyway, I can tell you ain't looking for a standard model, so why don't you tell me what you need and I'll tell you how much it'll cost to make?" ((I don't know what the currency is called...))

"Jurain Imperial," He said simply. "I need a Jurain Master key, thats gentically locked; and uses this crystal." He held up the tiny rock. "Now about that tea...?" He asked smiling.

"Ah, nevermind." He looked down at the tea he was holding in his hands. "Old age," was the only explination he bothered to give before drinking some of it. "By the way, do you know what a master key is?"

Adelaide PreviouslyAdelaide, having been eavesdropping on the conversation from the doorway, poked her head inside excitedly when she noticed Yoshia drinking her tea.
"Would you like more, Mr. Yoshia?" she asked, taking a step forward. "Or perhaps you'd like some, Flynn? Working in that shop all day must make you thirsty..."Flynn Previously"Sweetie," Flynn said, crossing her arms as she turned her attention to Adelaide, "you know I love you, but I'd rather drink boiled manure than that Satyr piss you call tea. How anyone can manage to screw up instant tea is beyond me, but somehow you manage it with all the artistic flair of a drunken crab. Also, it's rude to eavesdrop, especially when there is plenty of work in the back for you to do." Adelaide looked indignant and gave a pout.
"You're so mean, Flynn!" she squeaked before stomping out of the room.Flynn watched Adelaide leave with indifference. Then, when she was sure that the girl was out of earshot, she turned her attention back to Yoshia. "Adelaide," she said with a shake of her head. "A sweeter girl you'll never meet, but I just don't understand why anyone would bu--excuse me, raise--a girl to be so useless. The poor thing didn't even know how to hold a broom before I taught her how!" Flynn shook her head once more, as though lamenting Adelaide's complete and utter lack of worth. Then, seeming to remember that there was business to discuss, she raised up her head and her grin returned. "My apologies, Yoshia," she said. "These are all private matters, and they don't really have anything to do with business. To answer your question, yes, I do in fact know what a master key is." ((While Flynn would know what a master key is, I don't...at least not the same definition you probably have for one XD Perhaps you can enlighten me?))
