A really good book, that I would recommend to those who are L.D.S. in this guild and even those who aren't L.D.S. is the book called
"Answering Challenging Mormon Questions" By Michael Hickenbotham.
It is basically a book that is filled with FAQ's about the L.D.S. Church, the doctrine within the Church, etc. (It's a nonfiction book obviously)
Some of the questions it answers are
*Are we Christians?
*Why do we claim to have special authority?
*Why do we believe there was an apostasy?
*Is revelation still necessary?
*Do L.D.S. teaching contradict the Bible?
*Is God a spirit?
*May man become like God?
*Why do the Bible and Book of Mormon contain many identical passages?
*Are there any scientific and historical proofs of the Book of Mormon?
And many many more...
I am currently reading the book myself and it has helped me answer a lot of questions for those who keep asking me about the Church.
