 Jellicle Cats meet once a year
At the Jellicle Ball where we all rejoice.
And the Jellicle Leader will soon appear
And make what is known as the Jellicle Choice.
When Old Deuteronomy, just before dawn,
Through a silence you feel you could cut with a knife,
Announces the cat who can now be reborn
And come back to a different Jellicle Life
For waiting up there is the Heaviside Layer
Full of wonders one Jellicle only will see

NOMINATIONS
How does this work?
This event is an opportunity to become an elder without any RP requirements. While there is no OOC requirement, is is required to make sense ICly, so you will need to explain why this is someone Vaertun would consider.
This is a simple raffle where you may offer one of your Jellicles to be considered for nomination to become an elder. Overall there will be FIVE nominees. Two are already chosen based on RP (and thus certain IC) merit, leaving three spots to be raffled off.
Once you know your cat is a nominee, you must go to the Introduction Thread and follow the rules there! Final results will NOT be a raffle, entries will be judged and an elder will be chosen.
Rules!
- You may only enter one of your Jellicles for nomination.
- You may not enter someone else's Jellicle. This is not a real nomination process, this requires permission from the player of the cat who might become an elder.
- If you own one of the special nominees, you will need to post your consent to have them in the raffle but you may also enter one other Jellicle you own. Special nominees are selected outside of the raffle, they do NOT count against the owner.
- Cats do NOT need to be old but they MUST be an adult.
- Fill out and post the form below.
Special
Two Jellicles have been pre-selected by Vaertun for demonstrating certain qualities in the battle against Cocoa in the RP event several weeks ago. They are automatically in the contest for nominees unless their owners take them from the running.
Here they are:
Gambidoro (Pixelized Panther) for quick thinking and action when faced with an enemy, allowing for the capture of one of the cats responsible for the catnappings which came in handy for luring the baddies out and returning the missing cats to their homes.
Purrattica (DareDelvil) for showing clarity and bravery in a chaotic situation. Also for being able to pick Cocoa out of the madness, playing an invaluable part in their victory against her and making it possible to keep an eye out for her in the future.

Why? Tell me about this Jellicle's life and personality. What about them would make them stand out to Vaertun so that he might pick them out of the group? This does not need to be anything special or fantastic, a simple, dedicated and good life may be all it takes but I need to know that this is not an evil, troublesome cat.
If you are nominating a cat on the troublemaker pose, please be especially careful detailing why. Why are they on a mostly 'evil' pose if they are so good? Why do they deserve it?

 Why? Antallian may have been a self-centered handsome cat at one time, but those days are long gone. The first major change was when he grew close to a young, brave cat named Inatarni. The two were mated before he learned her lineage, but he didn't abandon her as he might once have. A good thing too, as the second major change forced on him was the birth of their first five kittens. Being a father helped him to see that while pride in his family belonged to any dad, but pride in himself, past a certain point, was just excessive. Antallian's life might have been that of an ordinary father save for his mate's blood. When he first learned about it, long before the Jellicle tribe did, he chose to stand by Inatarni and he refuses to go back on that decision. Even during the kidnapping incident, he was never swayed from that choice.

Purrattica hereby accepts her nomination, though she doesn't think she deserves it.
A mostly sheltered housecat, this much-beloved pet of two human females is accustomed to providing comfort for the downcast: she enjoys nothing more than purring soothingly to a poor sad soul until the tears dry and they start to smile again. Secretly, this is in part a way for her to forget her own myriad fears and anxieties. Purrattica is far from the bravest of cats. She is terrified of most cat toys, and even leaving her nice comfortable house to go as far as the Junkyard is a daunting prospect for her. Still, she has a strong sense of right and wrong and hates to let an evildoer slip away unpunished.
Before her involvement in the fight against Cocoa's gang, Purrattica had only thought herself capable of raising the alarm when evil was afoot. She had never expected to be called upon to fight for her tribe, and the thought of doing so terrified her. When faced with the deceitful Cocoa, however, she found strength in her righteous anger and desperate need to help her Jellicle family. Now that she has a mate and two daughters of her own, she feels that need more strongly than ever. Though she does not believe she is ready to become an Elder, she trusts her leaders' judgment and will always do her best to work for the tribe whether she is chosen or not.
