Okay, Anne Bishop has been chosen as our Author of the Month! biggrin She's written allot of full length novels as well as an anthology of short stories. She mostly keeps to the fantasy and romance genres but she can also be considered an author of action/adventure, drama, allegory, angst and just a tinsy bit of smut.
I do hope you enjoy her works just as much as this Renkon has! ^^

I haven't read any of her books but I plan to. Everyone seems to love her, its time I found out why.

I suggest you start off with the BJT. It was her first published work and the first one of her's that I read.

Yeah it's so long that it's in parts (2 pages each) because for some reason Word gets messed up if the counter goes past 100.
Mine wasn't that long till I started looking through the book forums. D:

I have a bit of a filter when I go into the books forum. I don't add anything recommended by any one person, it must have a recommendation of three or more literate users and can't have vampires (but the vampires thing is just more me, I'm sick of vampire literature, they're all the same).

I try to do the same. for me I'll find an author I like and go through and raid all the books they have and add all the ones that sound good to my list.
-dead- part of it is messed up >_< It goes from 46 to 58... No idea how to fix this quickly.

I read the Black Jewels Trilogy back when it came out and thougth it was pretty good. Can't remember a lot of it though now that I think about it.

Just to warn you: while Sebastian is great, it's sequel Belladonna leaves allot to be desired.
