This is pretty straightforward, but I didn't see anybody else bringing it up &I want to know ;D
I took lessons for acoustic guitar for three years, but I dropped it. I can still pick at it now and then and when I do, it's at 911 tabs looking for Sigur Ros or Neil Young or something. I enjoy that.
Main instrument is trumpet. Zach Condon (of Beirut) is more or less my hero and I try to mock everything he does.
Want to pick up the ukulele, perhaps? I also have a 12-bass accordion just chilling on the floor of my room. I don't know the first thing about it, but I'd love to figure it out.
Your turn, now :3

On This Night -guitar, 2 years (i have an acoustic project) -ukulele, 4 months (also for acoustic project) -bass guitar, 6 years (i play in bands on and off) -keyboard, here and there (i fiddle a little bit) -computer, 2.5 months (i also make 8-bit/chiptune music. requires some keyboard skill) That's outstanding. I figured you played guitar from some of your other posts that I saw on here, but it's cool to see the complete list (especially that ukulele bit haha)
Do you have any instruments in mind that you might want to pick up in the future?

Are you familiar with the band Beirut? The lead guy's left wrist is two inches shorter than his right, so he's unable to wrap it around a guitar or violin neck. He's experimenting with playing the violin like a ukulele - very interesting results o.O

It'll sound like I'm bragging, but I'm a band nerd so it's ok.
Clarinet, bass clarinet, piano, alto sax, bari sax, euphonium, trombone, bass, tuba, xylo/marimba/other mallet percussion instruments, and mandolin are all instruments I honestly used to play. I play most of them still, a lot. 'cause I'm a band nerd [:

piano-(9 years) flute-(2 years) clarinet-(7 years) violin-(6 years) guitar-(2 years)
Just to be clear the voice is an instrument as well as anything else is. I have been singing since I was 2. I've been taking vocal instruction since I was 5.

i got my acoustic guitar last summer and i have been playing it since. so not even a year. i have been singing for 9 years when i discovered my voice in a 1st grade Christmas recital. i have participated in 2 choir competitions. the first one i placed a 2 and in the resent one i got #20 out of about 100 people and qualified to sing in the regional competition. sadly i did not go onto state but i did get to go and perform in the regional choir performance.
