So, I'm not sure how many of you read in my Box of Scraps thread in the Gallery, but I had to give up my laptop, Neptune, to a repair shop, and was told that I may have to get a new one, well...

Good news everybody! I've invented a device that let's you hear this post in my voice
My laptop came back, alive and well~! I'm on it right now, just got it back.
I... I'm so happy I could cry!~ crying
So, what things recently have made you happy? (Since you know, school started, something must have made you a little happy)

I was gonna buy a new bass with my birthday money and my dad just gave me $100 so I can afford a bass that's actually good instead of the cheapest thing I can find. And the dude who gave me the most s**t throughout school over the years looked at me the other day and basically said the exact opposite of everything he's been making fun of me for. Pretty good.

Eh school's almost here, that's for sure.
During field hockey practice, my best guy friend finished his football practice and came down to watch me. Then we went to marching band together (he's in band and I'm in flag team) and we hung out the rest of the day.
I secretly like him. I think he likes me too whee

I was wondering because I just got my laptop for work upgraded to snow leopard and I've noticed the mac theme reminds me of you... the whole navy and purple space background surprised I added that part about school since I assume there are those among us that hate the thing. (I don't agree obviously. Since I'm going to be a teacher. But, oh, well.)
I actually have a Windows OS PC. It's a Toshiba Satellite from 5 years ago. (I still run XP. I refuse to upgrade to Vista, and having to use my mom's laptop for almost a week solidified that.) I've never used a Mac before, so I really have no opinion on them
(I just hate the people that go, Macs are better then PCs. Because Macs are a PC, since it means Personal Computer. What they mean is the OS. But, I digress.

Also when they say PC they really mean windows.
I really cant say anything since I have never owned anything other then a Mac.

I know they (and by they, I mean the idiots that start the Mac v PC threads) mean Windows, but it's just really starting to bug me. >.<

School has made me happy and unhappy. Happy because I'm starting again, but unhappy because I'm still adjusting(going on to the third week) and I'm starting to get behind because I can't focus yet. Lame.
But I'm also excited about my Art class. Not the class itself, but one of the guys in it. My friend who I have known for about 12 years is taking it with me. We haven't actually spoken to each other in over a year. And well with this class and my possible major change, I might be able to get back to being friends with him again. Wee!
And Planet, the whole PC vs Mac. The way you think rules. I'm going to start saying that when people bring that topic up. Haha! xD

Oh, hey. xD Welcome to the land of slowly dying. =,D
Major change? What are you planning/thinking of changing it to?
(And the whole Macs v PC thing is starting to become a pet peeve of mine. Even if I know what they meant. xO )

Don't say that. ): Fenky brought in some nice people. If Gaia made a dumb button to where I could select how many threads I want to delete in the forums, this place would probably be more livelier. Clicking on one thread at a time is really annoying.
Anyway, changing my Major from Graphic Design to Mechanical Engineering. Love to take stuff apart and put stuff back together. Although I might just double major, we'll see how the work load goes.

Oh, no, that's not what I meant. Even with all the new people in the guild, there's still stretches of days where no one posts. That and a lot of the original members haven't been on in a while/most likely quit Gaia.
Mechanical Engineering, huh? Pretty big shift there. (How many years is Mechanical Engineering? Is it 4 years like most majors or is it 5 or so?)

Honestly, I don't know, probably four I think. I want to talk to a counselor before I fully make this decision, right now I'm still on the Graphic Design path. But I don't just want to jump into the path without discussing it first with a counselor.

Yeah, hopefully. (The one I know for sure that quit for the most part is Knil. He and Gen had broken up.)
Yeah, talk to a councilor first. (You're what, 2nd year?) Because it would be best to see how much work you have to make up. (Case in point, I have a friend at a different university then me, and she switched from a Bio-Chem major, to a Pharmacy major. [Separate schools over there, though I think it's fundamentally the same...] Either way, she has to spend an additional year there to play catch up now.)
