Current issues/topics being discussed in Kroo Forum: Sniped D Fixathon
Anagove is putting the Sniped D through a little work out in which some of the Stickies will be changing and lots of updating will occur! Mose Did Some Cleaning Up Himself!
If you take a look around in the other subforums, you will see that the Stickies and Announcements got a work over and all of the [READ ME] Announcements are now uniform under the GCDSG-Gamemaster account. The other have been deleted since they were no longer needed. [MEMORABLE] Threads
A few certain threads have been moved to the Game Archives subforum, stickied, and flagged as [MEMORABLE]. These will not ever be deleted (and they are safer here than in the Recycle Bin, in Mose's opinion. Updated Mose updated this post on 7.7.2010.

Petitions!: Sounds good, but I would require more signatures to get it passed, or mean that it's just looked at and considered, then maybe voted on.
Should the Gamemaster mule stay on crew? D: Why wasn't he on Kroo when I was using him? Would have been SOOO much easier! Because of this I say yes, you should keep him on Kroo.

DISAGREE OMG DISAGREE @ PETITIONS. LIKE FOR SERIOUS. 12 active guild members voting on something? that is a lot. it is more than you can find voting AGAINST it. if in the future a shitload of petitions get passed that are stupid we can change it but oh my god no it's not too low.

@Pixie. Okay then, 12, but I think that means it should be moved to a vote first. Not automatically passed.

what do you mean, moved to vote?
also I think it'd take forever to get things passed then.... And I think it decreases the validity of petitions, like, how useful they are at doing what they should do?
Maybe we can come up with petition criteria, like, to have a petition you need to give reasons as to why it's important or w/e, exactly what it entails, can't hurt any rules, can't usurp previous petitions or make more than a certain amount of changes, w/e.
and maybe instead of auto pass at least 4? kroo need to be in favor of it? or something similar that doesn't mean that one person can keep it from getting passed.
I don't know. I don't want petitions to be abused, but they need to be able to fulfill their purpose.

I just want to make sure there are enough checks and balances going on.

i agree with cherry. i thought that the i am me/soapbox petition was passed way too quickly. some people voted to change it back simply because they were against using a poll to make guild decisions, whereas the point should be the issue itself. that's like me voting against a petition because i don't like the person who started it - the information is irrelevant. if we're going to use petitions at all, there should be guidelines somewhere. (for instance, i didn't even know we COULD vote against a petition until i read that in this thread. i totally would have done so.)

saying you don't want a petition doesn't make petition count go down and that was a special circumstance o.o
I was pretty pissed at toastie for making us have so many votes to change it back after how stupidly hastily and messily it was changed.
that WAS a special circumstance though. and nothing in this thread about petitions is final.

I hope that is not sarcasm and you actually are acknowledging I was misunderstood. D:
butyeah, I just mean if some feature is being put to vote and you get 12+ people voting FOR it, you will not get more than 12 people voting against it.
petitions are just getting a list of names toward an idea? :3
