On the west side of the city. Sentinel activity was high. Building were on fire, people screamed. Here and there a Sentinel or two were blasting at things moving. Destruction was the scene, screams, the soundtrack. Along the outer rim it was quieter, that is where we find Wolverines team.

Wolverine pulled the jeep to a stop on the edge of the city, where the damage had already taken place. Lets see if we can determine which way they came from, if it is on this side of the city they came in. Stay low and keep yer eyes open for survivors, bub. This is recon until the rest get here, understood. He said to Wade as he climbed out of the jeep.

The jeep pulled to a stop and Wade saw up close the damage that was done. Where do you suppose we start looking, buddy. He said to Wolverine as they climbed from the jeep. And you think I'm gonna broadcast our location. Calm down old friend, you'll get wrinkles. He spoke as he looked around.

Another explosion went off, followed by shrieking humans as they scrambled for cover. A loud paffing sound could be heard following the screams.
Jubilee was trying her best to protect a crowd of kids, who just clung to her like peanut butter.
"Frakkin' bots! Go away! Leave 'em alone! Pick on somebody your own size!" She shouted, firing off several plasmatic fireworks towards one of the bots hovering over her.
A very large Sentinel fired several shots down along the ground by Jubilee, specifically aiming towards the humans, and not the obvious mutant. The giant beast shouting out in a robotic voice,
"HAULT HUMANS! MUTANT IS A NON-THREATENING TARGET! IGNORE THE MUTANT!"
Jubilee stared at the blasted thing after the announcement echoed in the air.
"This has got to be some whacko joke. Right?" Ducking as a lazer swept past her, knocking her off her feet, as she rolled backwards along the small gathering. Shaking her head, she shouted at the kids, "RUN! HIDE! Get away from here!" Some of the really scared kids just stared at her, while some got up and ran, towards the houses.
Probably a bad idea, after she thought about it. Perhaps the less targets, the less amount of damage to take place? How was she to know? She had been fighting off these jerks since she left the mall.
She was running out of ideas to perform, let alone do. She hadn't heard squat back from any of the guys back at the mansion. Hopefully they were on their way. Waiting for the dust to settle, she fired once again at the robot, only to be retaliated back. Taking the brunt of the hit, as she went through the two kids, landing smack against a tree, grunting.

((Now that theres a new Gambit, I agreed to be his son, Pierre LeBeau, AKA Spades. I will now post as him. His powers are the same as Gambits with the addition of being able to send an object he touches rocketing in any direction- apart from humans.))
Spades ran out of the local pizza place when he heard the screams. Pulling a deck of cards from the pocket of his signature brown jacket. He flung them up at the robot hovering over Jubilee, charging them full of Kinetic Energy.
"Jubilee! Are you alright?!" he yelled to his young friend. He ran over next to her by the tree. Grabbing the tree, he sent it rocketing towards the sentinel flying above, which fell to the ground, creating a huge crater.
Obviously, Pierre had missed the mission breifing where Scott had spesifically said not to destroy the city.

What in the heck is going on here? I mean that bucket head ignored me until I obviously got in it's way of hitting the humans. I mean this is so totally not like them ya know? They are always after us. What's so special about regular people? Do you have any clues?""Cause any of your guesses are as good as mine, man."

Pierre sighed and shrugged. "No clue, kid. Maybe they're just confused. Either way, we cant let 'em kill these people!" he declared.
He saw a Sentinel chasing a family and lept into action, letting the cards fly. Pulling out his staff, he began whacking at the bot. Slowly, it turned to face Spades and fired a missile at him. Pierre dodged the front and tapped the back of it, sending it flying back at the Sentinel.
Blowing that one up, he smiled proudly and brushed his hands off. Suddenly, a troop of Sentinels surrounded him.
"MUTANT INTERFERANCE! TERMINATE!"
"Uh-oh... JUBILEE! DAD!" Pierre screamed.

Wolverine followed a Sentinel closely behind,Wade staying to his right, staying out of its range of sensors. You know as well as I do, Wade, these things are still be wired for Mutants. We gotta go at this-

Wade listened as Logan talked, until he couldnt just stand there anymore. He pulled his blades and leapt into the air and onto the Sentinels back, taking off its arms and head before it could set an alarm. Then he landed. I say we take what we can out, draw the attention from the others so they can investigate and save people. That is the job we are cut out form dont you think. He said as the robot exploded.

Damn it Wade! Aint got a choice now do we. Hope they enjoy us takin fire off of em, where ever the hell they are!! Rarrrrgh!!!!! Wolveine roared as he lunged onto the closest of at least half a dozen Sentinels headed for him and Wade. You better...RRGH! Be able to hack it!! He yelled to Wade as he sliced into the giant machine

He heard Wolverines voice and saw him leap, and an explosion went off beside him. He jumped, barely avoiding serious damage, and rolled between the legs of the closest to him, cutting through its ankles, toppling it to the ground. Good to know you still care about me!! Nnnnnh! He shouted as he recovered and sliced off the robots head. That s**t hurt!! He said popping his kneck and giving his arm time to heal before he went after another.

Wolverine followed Wades move and went after the legs of one, knocking it into another blowing them both up. Arrgh! Try to keep up! He shouted to Wade.

Suddenly, a troop of Sentinels surrounded him. "MUTANT INTERFERANCE! TERMINATE!""Uh-oh... JUBILEE! DAD!" Pierre screamed. Jubilee shook out the cobwebs trying to form in the back of her mind. As she lept off the ground, throwing her plasmatic fireworks up towards the robot firing on Pierre. Blinding one of the bots as it turned and fired towards the other robot standing off to it's right. Snatching Pierre's flailing arms and tugging him along with her, before the Sentinel squashed the two of them upon it's ground tumbling action. "Ya know...sometimes the more the merrier is a good thing. However, getting these things ganging up on us, isn't exactly helping. Lets focus on getting the people outta here. Then when the going gets rough, we can kick some robot butt!"
